Twilight but it's a family sitcom!!! Edward gets made fun of for how emo he is. All the Cullen siblings play pranks on eachother. Resume (or whatever the fuck her name is) spends too much money shopping with Aunt Alice and crashes Edward's Volvo. Carlisle and Charlie are just rolling with the punches and dealing with everyone's shit. All the classic sitcom things happen, but it's still twilght.

Watching Daisy Jones and the Six gives me extreme bi panic. Suki Waterhouse (specifically as Karen Sirko) makes me gayer whilst Sam Claflin makes me straighter.
Totally agree. Not to mention the fact that Katniss wasn't trying to be the face of a rebellion, it just kind of happened to her. The biggest difference I noticed between THG and SOTR is that Haymitch was trying to end the games and actively rebel while Katniss would love that to happen but is primarily focused on the survival of herself and her family.
Katniss accidentally became the face of a revolution through a mixture of her natural reactions to her situation being publicized and the orchestration of those that have been behind the rebellion for decades.
It is not a teenage girl saves the world story it is a teenage girl becomes propaganda story.
Suzanne Collin’s just said fuck you to everyone who’s ever critiqued the Hunger Games as being a “teen girl saves the day” story. She said oh, Mockingjay didn’t make it clear enough? Here’s a book about how people have been rebelling for decades only to have their efforts suppressed and propagandized. Rebellion takes time and it takes failure and Katniss may have been the spark that ignited the wildfire but she did so standing atop the doused flames of everyone who came before her.
i have to defend fictional women who aren't good people because if i don't who else will
Smart Kids (a poem)
Special, gifted, going places... That's what they tell you.
And when there are test scores and reading levels to see how you compare, you start to believe it.
Your friends treat you like a genius and you pretend not to care. But as the class size grows the spotlight is to share.
And as the arbitrary markers begin to disappear, you start to wonder... it fills you with fear. How your genius is no longer recognized by your peers.
You are simply another person. With strengths and weaknesses like anyone else. You are not special or smart, If anything you're idiotic and overemotional.
When the common markers of success begin to flea your talent diminishes. your accomplishments seems mall as a pea.
You realize you were one of many "smart kids" in the class. You realize that your superiority was never meant to last.
Society if we gave James MacAvoy and Michael Fassbender full creative control over Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr so they could make their Cherik fishing roadtrip romcom
if you listen to Unwrittwn by Natasha Bedingfield while thinking about the assignment you haven't started it goes from a serenity song to a stress song.
No spoilers I promise! But I just saw Black Widow and it was so good!!!! All the new characters they added are interesting, it's funny, it's interesting, there's action, and fascinating interpersonal relationships! It's possibly one of the betrer movies in the mcu (which is saying something because the mcu movies are awesome). It's so great to finally see an action/superhero movie with multiple female main characters that's as good if not better than similar movies featuring male characters!
- adoptive brothers with black cat and golden retriever energy
- some argument over inheriting the family business (throne of Asgard and Callahan auto parts respectively)
- brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta hug
- the brothers learn to actually work together/like each other
