URGENT!! Help me survive before and after a kidney transplant
Hi. I’m Jay, and I’m a black, disabled non-binary lesbian and my best friend, who is my caregiver, is a white Latina woman.
On May 28, I go in for a kidney transplant due to chronic kidney disease and being on dialysis wouldn’t sustain me anymore. I currently have bed sores due to being completely bedbound from an infection. My whole care team is saying I need a hospital bed with a medical grade mattress that relieves pressure sores. The thing is we don’t exactly have $4.5k laying around and we need it fairly quickly as my bed sores are worsening by the day and they are worried about infection of the sores and then sepsis (a blood infection that you can die from).
My best friend is selling merchandise of her cat and this is the quickest way for us to make the money as Paypal limited both our accounts for asking for donations. The influx of money raised red flags, I guess, which is fair. The notebooks are $9 + shipping, but we have lots of different merchandise. I just love it all. Here’s the link to the notebook. The store name is www.troublethecat.ca if you rather just look at the whole catalog.
Thank you so much

I'm still trying to save up about 2100$ for a sleep apnea device. My insurance refused to cover it. And I essentially need it to breathe in my sleep. So any help is greatly appreciated!

I just want to know the age breakdown of this website so reblog please
(tw : brief mention of faking mental health issues)
I think it's valid.
There are many people who can't access an official diagnosis of their mental disabilities for various reasons such as, poverty, being part of another marginalised group (women/poc etc), being a minor with unsupportive or unwilling parents and the list goes on. Some people simply don't want to and I get why. An official diagnosis can limit you in many ways such as travel, healthcare, education etc. An official diagnosis can also make you more prone to ableism from the government, schools and workplaces.
Either way, self diagnosis is extremely important whether you choose to pursue an official diagnosis or not.
(Side note : I don't think it matters in the grand scheme of things if someone fakes a mental disorder for attention. Of course, it is disrespectful and you shouldn't do it but people with mental disorders barely get support anyway so what would they exactly be taking away from us? Stim toys? The only thing I can think of is therapists but there aren't many that specialise in disability so 🤷 I think the only time it could be considered a bad thing is if they're spread harmful misinformation like if you're gonna fake something, at least make it believable. To be honest, I feel bad for those who fake a disorder / disability because they might be so attention starved that they would do that.)
Help bc i have the same problem 😭😭😭😭
whoever is writing my life has got mad writers block bc wtf am i doing
So I know lots of people are mad about the porn bots following them and their accounts (and you're allowed to feel this way, I'm not demeaning that in the slightest), but in my experience with them, they never have anything explicit on their profiles if anything at all so personally I'm actually okay with it. Of course if they DO have explicit things on their account, I will block them for my own safety since I'm a minor. Idk, this is just my opinion tho.
So wholesome, i definitely needed to share it 🫂💕
