You’re up again, Tumblr.
Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won.
That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.
His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.
Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.
The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.
You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:
I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.
The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them.
The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.
Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.
Thank you!
If you need more ammo, feel free to quote these experts from our net neutrality Issue Time. TechCrunch and Battle for the Net also have some good starters.
Everyone is counting on everyone else here. Do your part and tell the FCC to keep a free and open internet under Title II.

An OMORI Crossover AU Fic
"I don't know if everything here is a knock-off or everything in Faraway is. I don't recognize any of these."
Aubrey grumpily compares two brands of colored paper side-by-side, while Sunny looks out the window of the small mart the two are in.
"Just choose one and go," Sunny spoke, "it's late out and I don't want anyone we know to see-"
"O- oh! You're Sunny right?"
Sunny did a quick nod.
"...and you're the deer girl from the housewarming party right?" Aubrey questioned back, recalling when she first arrived in Monstertown.
"Y-yup! That's me!" Noelle responded bashfully. "W-what are you doing out at this time?"
"Uh..."
---
"SUNNY THEY'RE PLAYING PET ROCK RUMBLE 5 OVER HERE!"
---
"I.. could ask the same thing to you!" Sunny replied with whatever wavering confidence he had left.
"Oh just getting some s-supplies! I uh, lost track of time today..." Noelle explained, her eyes darting away from Sunny's.
Sunny remembers Noelle's voice from earlier in the morning.
"You mean from what you asked Kris to do?"
Noelle's eyes widened from Sunny's unintentional eavesdropping.
"U-uh yes! Just our study groups studying together! Yup! Studying! That's what groups do!!! H-how is Kris anyway!?"
"They're... fine?" Aubrey spoke up seeing Noelle's rising volume spooking Sunny. "We saw them walking to their apartment with Susie when we went out."
Noelle blushes at the thought of Susie-
"O-Oh! I s-see. Is S-Susie staying over?"
"Probably, at least for a while," Aubrey thinks, "Knowing Ms. Toriel she probably convinced Susie to help make pie or something."
"I'm still recovering from all the sugar you put in the last ONE-" Sunny got out before getting a jab in the shoulder.
"LET'S," Aubrey says with a annoyed forced smile, "take this somewhere else!"
Noelle shyly complies with Aubrey's hinting as she goes along with the two to the reception area. There they find in front of the counter a tall lady with a red ponytail on the phone.
"Undyne!" Sunny cheerfully realized as he waves for her attention. The boy's greeting goes unnotices as Undyne is taking in what she hears on the phone.
"Uh miss your holding the line..." the monster behind the counter spoke, it to not budging the big fish lady.
"Undyne...?" Sunny says again, concern dawning on the three teens.
"I'll be there," Undyne finally said in a calm but firm voice, as she turned off and tucked her phone. She looks behind her towards the worried trio with a serious expression she hasn't worn since the seventh human fell to the underground.
"There's trouble at the MTT Complex."
---
"Um, I don't think we paid for this yet!" Sunny says hugging the brand of colored paper he got while being held by Undyne's right arm.
"YOU'RE EXCUSED DUE TO PRESSING EMERGENCY!" Undyne spat out as she ran as fast as her legs could muster.
"How the hell did some lunatic manage to pass the security and slash all over the hallway!? I thought this was a super important hotspot or whatever!" Aubrey ranted while held in Undyne's other arm.
"M-maybe it's just some angry rats?! That would be cute right?!" Noelle tries to reason while clinging on Undyne's back, not believing her own words trying to calm her.
"Look, whatever it is," Undyne says stoicly, "If it could be a threat we have to go there as soon as-
---
"Dammit dammit DAMMIT!" Undyne curses as she rushed up the stairs faster then the elevators ever could.
"Kris..." Sunny worries out loud with a expression of mixed stress and worry. Aubrey and Noelle mirror his expression.
As they reach their desired floor, Undyne drops the teens as they all dash toward the Dreemurr's door. They are met with the surrounding walls and carpet torn with multiple slash marks, and the door left slightly opened.
"OKAY," Undyne roars as she grabs the door, "WHOEVER THE HELL YOU ARE IF YOU EVEN LAY A FINGER ON-"
Undyne throws the door open only to be met by the entrance clouded in an ominous darkness. The four step back as the darkness seems to consume all the light in the scarred hallway.
"...What the hell?" Aubrey speaks up, breaking the silence with eyes widened to their limit. As they stare in disbelief of the darkened door, one of them inches towards still with the same expression.
"N-Noelle?" Sunny muttered as the deer girl moves ever closer.
"T-this..." Noelle starts realizing, "This is just like..." She stops talking as she raised her arm towards the dark.
Suddenly, a flare of shadows bursts out the door, engulfing Noelle's hand and dragging her into the void. Noelle let out a gasp, as her descent was quickly stopped by the arm of Undyne.
"Undyne!" Sunny yells as he grabs Undyne's other arm and pulls with all his slightly nourished strength.
"Sunny don't-!" Aubrey shrieked as she grabs on to Sunny's shoulders, giving her own strength.
The darkness lets out a pulse, as the void overcomes the power of the combined four and drags all of them down to its darkness.
---
Sunny struggles trying to open his eyes. He find himself staring the gray floor beneath him, surrounded by an endless darkness.
His gaze meets his lap. His brown shorts have changed to a black and white striped shorts, ones he's all too familiar with. What he wasn't familiar was the purple cloak that covered the black tank top he was usually accustomed to, along with what felt like a baggy hat on his head.
"What the..."
"Sunny..."
Sunny flinches as the familiar phrase passes through him. He looked at the source of the voice as his eyes are met with bright cyan ones. Surrounding them was a distressed face of a girl, dressed in a ranger get-up colored black and yellow, complete with a pink hood resembling a bunny.
"Where the FUCK are we!?"

This isn’t my type of post but Net Neutrality is so important.
Forget your page’s aesthetic, share this with everyone you know. Without Net Neutrality, the internet itself would change.
Companies would be able to charge websites if they want them to load faster than others on your computer. This means that they would purposefully bottleneck speeds on every website that doesn’t have the funding to pay for it faster speed. There’s NO reason for this. Are you a small business with a website and can’t afford to pay enough to get faster speeds? Too bad. Are you someone with a personal blog? Slow page loading. Do you want to view a website written by a nonprofit organization for your school project? You’ll have to wait until the page loads because, since they’re nonprofit, they can’t afford to pay enough to cable companies so that their page loads faster.
An alternative to this would be having to pay for faster internet. Internet service should be priced by usage, not speed. For home internet, unlimited use isn’t all that expensive so it’s really common. You wouldn’t want to pay extra for more speed.
This would possibly affect the way that the internet works on other devices such as your phone, gaming system, laptop, tablet, etc.
We NEED Net Neutrality.
If a company doesn’t agree with a specific website, they could purposefully limit traffic to their site. This would be censorship, something that nobody likes.
There are many other reason as to why you should protect Net Neutrality.
This is an issue whether you’re a Republican, Democrat, Left-wing, Right-wing, young, old, male, female, rich, poor, etc.
EVERYONE SHOULD ADVOCATE FOR NET NEUTRALITY.
