I’m not even part of this post but I wanted to mention Dori and how pretty he is

i love when Dori isn’t even in a fic but the author still throws in a line about how pretty he is. they’ll be describing a completely different character’s physical appearance and it’s like “yeah he’s cute but he’s not as breathtakingly gorgeous and perfect as DORI, now THAT’S a beautiful dwarf. have you seen his hair? his big strong arms? no, no dwarrow could compare to Dori. this one is fine tho. i guess.” and they’re always so right

No one talks about this but when you wear a hand full of heavy rings you can clack your fingers together and it’s very soothing, I do it a lot when I’m stressed, sometimes I just tap them together when my hands are clasped.

A conversation I had in the workshop today:

Me: *attempting to break into a storage cupboard with a pair of broken felting needles* does anyone know how to get into this thing

A girl from the year above me: I used to just tear it open.. but they changed the lock

Me: ah, so this is your doing

My classmate: I have a knife

Me: nah, I need the scissors that are in here to cut some leath- A KNIFE?

My classmate: *proceeds to present me with the small collection of weaponry in her satchel bag*

It might be a good idea. You probably hadn’t even realized you were breathing through your mouth just then huh? Yeah that’s why your throats so dry. Go drink some water and blow your nose and hell while your up might as well go to the bathroom.

Look after yourself, you’re a good person and you deserve to be looked after.
