He’s Just So Full Of Love And Nerves

A conversation I had in the workshop today:

Me: *attempting to break into a storage cupboard with a pair of broken felting needles* does anyone know how to get into this thing

A girl from the year above me: I used to just tear it open.. but they changed the lock

Me: ah, so this is your doing

My classmate: I have a knife

Me: nah, I need the scissors that are in here to cut some leath- A KNIFE?

My classmate: *proceeds to present me with the small collection of weaponry in her satchel bag*

That last chapter of SanSûkh almost got be gang. I’m still ugly crying

There is no frustration like sawing a highly conductive metal and having it basically turn into glue as the friction heat softens it, trapping your LAST saw blade.

Guys I can’t take it. The whole holiday…

No forge room, no work shop. None of my tools.. all I can do it sit and design things I can’t make. This is hell? I’m in hell..

Soon I’ll be leaving the coast and heading back up into the mountains to see my family and I know it’s going to be either broiler hot up there or frozen to the core of the earth since there is no in between.. but at least then I can work some stone and maybe do some gold prospecting and have a hunt..

(I doubt my dad will take me gold panning :< coz he won’t want to split the findings-3- silly choice because my back is younger and I can hew a rock as well as anyone)

Anyway. I doubt I’ll do much of anything productive beside some archery and sit there yearning to be back in my workshop…

I’m excited for that first good breath of mountain air though :D but I don’t want a holiday, I want to keep working D:

A very sad tale indeed

I had very light blonde hair when I was wee. I filled in my eyebrows with my mums make up and I thought it looked like Thranduil. I cried so hard I threw up.

Sometimes I think about when I was a brand new baby my parents snuck me into a screening on LOTRs inside my mums jacket and one of my first baby memories is fucking Moria 💀
