This episode was sooo relatable in terms of growing up and realizing the bad things that happened to you as a child. Like, when you're a kid and in a bad situation, you don't really realize how bad it was until you get older and understand the world more and then it dawns on you like "oh, this is definitely not how it was supposed to be"
Young Ahsoka was so heartbreaking because, in these scenes, physically she looks like the age she was when she fought in the Clone Wars (13 or 14), but mentally she's like in her 50s and has all the memories and knowledge that her 50-year-old self has. Now, she looks back and realizes that she wasn't trained to fight in a war. The training younglings received was to be peacekeepers. Now, she sees Anakin's lightheartedness and joking nature and, rather than joining in like she once may have done, she's disgusted by it. Now, she sees the pointlessness of the war and how so many people died for nothing. We see a child with the wisdom and understanding of an adult. It pushes the audience to understand more of the tragedy of the Clone Wars and the trauma that Ahsoka carries from it. This was the guilt and anger and sadness she has been carrying for decades.
Seeing this perspective is quite heavy and depressing, but it makes the line "I choose to live" so much more impactful. You can heal from your past and step forward onto a new path and choose to keep living.
i have a big "hc" of dick grayson that he had HUGE fear of abandonment, mainly towards bruce himself.
after his parents died, he developed BIG abandonment issues
and to create even more trauma he was sent to JUVIE
so i think that he's really really insecure about his place as bruces son. He still has it, too
he tried his absolute BEST until exhaustion so that he wouldn't disapoint bruce and be sent away to juvie again
and the midia and bullying didn't helped, as they kept saying that he was a charity case and bullying him towards it and his origins
and i hc too that he sometimes ran away from home and he was found by either clark or selina. they're the only ones that know about this big insecurity of his.
and it's ironic that dick created suck high standarts to himself that he ended up creating an UNREACHABLA standart to the other robins.
i don't really know if these insecurities of his are canon so i putted it as a hc
OK SO I HAVE A THEORY
I’m like 100% sure that Aragorn and Thranduil don’t know each other’s names
In the two towers, when aragorn, gimli and legolas are surrounded by the riders of rohan, aragorn says “i am Aragorn, son of Arathorn. This is gimli, son of gloin, and Legolas…” …… “of the Woodland Realm.” He doesn’t know Legolas’s dad’s name. Could’ve just said “Legolas son of Thranduil”, that’s not even awkward to say!
And then at the end of botfa, Thranduil is talking to Legolas and he’s like “There is a young ranger amongst them. He is known in the wild as Strider. His true name……..” ……… “you must discover for yourself.” Just admit it, you two. You don’t know each other’s fucking names.
Have you seen this Guardian article? I'd love your thoughts on the last two paragraphs!

Fascinating article, but HOLY SHIT?
I KNEW WE WERE GETTING A GAME, BUT THREE?? AN ANIMATED MOVIE AND A STAGE SHOW??
If we get all of these it would be beautiful- (I wonder which High Level Company?? I’m nervous???) Also I NEED the stage adaptation- I’m gonna cry?
Ahsoka and Sabine the last 10 minutes of the finale:
you don't have to have sex in your relationship for it to be successful <3
Your honor, I see no lies here.
With the obnoxious medical droid gone, the room fell into a somber silence. Everyone in the crew was watching Ezra, but none of them could find the heart to speak.
Until Hera.
"You really hurt yourself good, huh?"
It was quiet, yet everyone in the room heard it. Aside from Kanan, no one ever really heard her speak that softly. None of them had ever heard her speak to them while they were unconscious.

The game: Let’s help each other’s WIP goals by playing a rousing game of WIP Ping-Pong!
The rules: If you’ve been tagged (pinged), post any number of lines from your current WIP of your choosing. If you’d like to continue the so-called ping-pong match, tag the person who pinged you (pong), as well as anyone else you’d like to play with!
Let’s see how many concurrent games we can all handle and how quickly we can get through our respective WIPs!
Tagged by: @niennawept -- thank you! This looks like fun and I needed a little nudge to work on some vexing parts of my WIP. It really has been a bit of a slog (affectionate) so far.
Here are some new lines in To Partake:
Elrond sucks in a gulp of that sea-drenched air, then lets it out as slowly as he can, squeezing his eyes shut, focusing on the sound of Lindon’s port: the shouting sailors, the creaking boats and complaining ropes, bells and horns and clopping horse-hooves, screaming gulls and lapping waves. It’s comforting, grounding. He has always liked the docks for how they remind him of Sirion, of a time when he felt safe.
So yes, yeah, we're back in Lindon this chapter wheeeeee.
