So minimal school spirits fandom that I now know exists, what do we think about the theory that this whole thing started bc of a science experiment gone wrong?

(I could be misremembering here so correct me if I am) Mr. Martin and Janet died in a fire in what is now the fallout shelter, and in one of the articles they found another student in the class was blaming Mr. Martin for starting the fire and bringing Janet in there with him.

what if, they were doing some kind of research experiment together (hence the chemical formulas in the beginning of Janet's notebook, and the shorthand) that went wrong, and what they'd done of that experiment plus them dying in the room in the fire with it, trapped their souls there.

which raises the question, when Mr. Martin locked her in that room, was it with the watch? was she experiencing that freaking red room thing relieving that day over and over for months? is that what they were arguing about right before Maddie found them? was he making her relive that to try and figure out where the mistake was in their experiment, because he wanted to try and redo or reverse it and that's why Mr. Martin was trying to force her to tell him what she saw?

as far as we know date wise Janet and Mr. Martin are the oldest ghosts, they've been there longest, they could very well be the start of it all.

I love Miguel and Johnny but what’s crazy about this scene is that Johnny wasn’t there for Robby. Johnny gave pep talks to Devon, to Sam, to the team as a whole (as well as disparaging the team as a whole). But he did not have a single moment alone with Robby where he encouraged him or supported him at all. He called Miguel the team anchor in front of Robby, praised Miguel’s performance in front of Robby. And there’s nothing inherently wrong or incorrect with that, but why does the show keep trying so hard to convince me that father/son bonding moments happened between Robby and Johnny when they just didn’t.

Words cannot express how much I HATED this scene:

The "I wish you could celebrate with us" it's not cute, it's not nice, it's not what the writers think they were doing for that friendship.

This was condescending as hell.

And my worst nightmare coming true, which was CK losing and Tory looking longingly at MD cause they are the heroes/saints and if she just chose the right side she could've been happy with them, but she chose wrong and now she has to suffer even more cause she didn't learn her lesson that MD is right and CK is wrong.

THAT'S UTTER BULLSHIT.

She shouldn't feel bad she chose CK when said MD gave zero fucks about her (for MONTHS apparently), gave her spot to Hawk like it was nothing and were then telling her they would've been there for her if she asked/went to them.

That girl was grieving and left your dojo in tears, I don't think she needed to FUCKING ASK for you to be there for her.

i need to do my rewatch of season 1 this week at least.

season 2 is gonna be so much darker than season 1, i’m READY! like the trailer got me so hyped again i’m seated.

also the girl that plays janet is soooo pretty. idk but i’m sooo ready

only bad thing is i don’t have paramount and i’m sure that the episodes are gonna be dropping weekly

i hate that i only discovered cobra kai this year on its last season.. over a few months i’ve just fell in love with the show completely.

excited for part 3, but realising when that drops cobra kai ends is a weird feeling. also a feeling i cant describe because it just feels weird?!

i fell in love with the characters the cast. it’s all just crazy lol.

sidenote: considering sekai taikai will probably be over in like one or two episodes max, i hope we get the couples finally able to be couples.

kinda forget that they’re all gonna have trauma and be scarred for life becasue of kwons death 🫠

regardless, i hope they end cobra kai off beautifully.
