Alcina's Reaction to Reader Moving on After Their Break-Up

Alcina is furious because you moved on faster than she expected

But she’s more so upset about the fact that you found yourself in the arms of Donna

Despite it hurting her that you’d gone running to her sister, she sees your choice as a downgrade because she thinks highly of herself

Personally, Alcina would’ve liked it more if you’d gone for one of the staff members

Then she could really have her fun watching the two of you scream for mercy as she tortured the both of you

After all, nobody broke up with Alcina Dimitrescu and lives to tell about it

Unfortunately, since Donna was her sister albeit not by blood, she could not harm her

And because Alcina actually cared for you, she abhors the thought of causing you pain

Especially after the way she had hurt you which was the reason behind the break-up

But still, seeing you with Donna made her heart ache

She wanted to be the reason that you laughed, smiled, and cried with joy

However, she was determined to be happy for you

So when you came to the Castle one afternoon, she’d gotten foolishly hopeful

Foolishly hopeful, indeed

The tight smile she plastered on her face after you’d confessed that you were in love with Donna was evident

“I know this may seem weird, but do I have your blessing, Al?”

Alcina cracked

You wanted her blessing on your relationship with Donna?

“Of course, little one. I see how happy the two of you make each other.”

Alcina’s heart ached even more when she saw how brightly her blessing made you smiled

Her façade starting to crumble when you hugged her

“Thank you, Al, that means a lot.”

Alcina’s lip trembled slightly when you cupped her face

Alcina’s eyes staring into yours as you spoke 16 words to her that she’d never forget

“I will always love you, Alcina. I hope you remember that until the end of time.”

“And I you, draga mea.”

Alcina eyes widen in surprise as you kissed her before abruptly pulling away, putting distance between the two of you

It isn’t until after you that she finds herself locked in her room with a bottle of wine

She’ll run herself a bath and pour a glass before sinking into the tub, crying to herself over how much of a fool she was to ever hurt you and let you go

Bonus Head Canon:

After the break-up, Alcina makes the castle a living hell for the staff and her daughters

But the day after you asked her for her blessing, she realised how unfair she was being

You’d given her a bit of closure and it allowed her to take a deep breath and make the castle more welcoming

Because of that, Alcina met someone new that captured her heart like you did

And she promised herself that she wouldn’t do them harm in any way and would instead try to love and care for them with her whole heart

Sitting on Alcina's lap eh? I would just drift to sleep,while she is reading or doing something else. She is probably really soft and comfy... Where is that Alcina plush Capcom hmmm.

exactly! where is the alcina plush, capcom?! it doesn’t even have to be like life size, I’ll simply take one that is half her height tbh, I just wanna cuddle with my tall vampire lady!

but yeah, sitting on her lap. can you just imagine curling up on it, resting your head on her shoulder, and just sitting there while she reads or does paperwork?? maybe you start playing with her necklace, or maybe her hair is down so you’re playing with her curls. oh, and just imagine if it’s late at night so she starts humming a lullaby and it helps you drift off to sleep.

I imagine that alcina wouldn’t mind having you sit on her or even have you near her. you’re her human and she loves you so the more she has you around, the more calm she is, you know?? you’re like her rock, you help keep her grounded, vice versa. I think I got off topic, just a tiny bit.

Y/N: Hey, Alci... Can I ask you something?

Lady Dimitrescu: What is it?

Y/N: Well... Do you like me?

Lady Dimitrescu, whispering indignantly: I MARRIED YOU

Y/N: ... yes, but did you marry me as a friend, or like, a wife? unclear

Lady Dimitrescu: Dove, for Mother Miranda's sake, it's 3 a.m. Just sleep already
