This is very me .. I’m so shy and self conscious about my laughter >~< although I have the strongest feeling my -ler would absolutely eat it up !

tickling someone who is usually so shy about their smiles... someone who always ducks their head and looks down at the floor when they grin, who lets out a tiny huff of breath instead of a real laugh, who is so quiet about their happiness.

they try so hard to keep that quietness up as they're tickled... turning their head away, eyes shut, nose scrunched, trying so hard not to giggle or lose control... but they're just too ticklish, they can't help it. they start giggling and squirming, twitching at every poke and wiggle of fingers against their body, breathless and blushing at being made to laugh aloud! poor shy little thing <3

Ler things and their teases that drive me NUTS!!!! Pt1

- Anything “Tickle monster” (like do I need to elaborate further? 😭 I don’t think so)

- “I’m gonna get youuu “ “I’m going to tickle youuuu” takes the cake and especially if it’s in that singsong tone (you guys know what I’m talking about 😭)

- (This one is similar to the second one) but when they’re wiggling their fingers over a spot and say “it’s coming for you” (referring to their fingers and the tickles) but also saying it in that singsong tone

- COUNTING DOWN 😭 but then when they’re closer to 1 they just stall making you think they’re going to start but they don’t until you least expect it 😫

- Making you admit things while they’re tickling you

- When they say “I’m sorry I can’t hear you or “I can’t understand you” when you’re trying to speak through your laughter while they’re tickling you 😭

- Tickle interrogations about things you can’t possibly know and punishing you for getting the answers wrong

- Tickling super fast and alternating between different spots while saying “are you ticklish here?” “How about here?” “Or here?” 😭😭

- “You’re in big trouble now 😏”

- Questioning how much it tickles you when they know it really does. “This can’t possibly tickle that much” “I think you’re lying so I’ll just stay here” even though you’re laughing your head off 😭

- “Nobody is coming to save you” 🙈

- “You’re stuck with me forever”

- “Tickle tickle tickleeee”

- “You’re all mine” or “ _____ *spot* is all mine” (STOPPPP I CANT HANDLE THIS ONE 😭)

- Tickling you but pretending they have no clue why you’re laughing so much so they’ll say “what?” “I’m not even doing anything, why are you laughing so much?”

- (Idk how anyone else feels about this one) but the nonchalant look when they’re tickling. As if your squeals and laughter and pleads and screams don’t affect them in any way they just look at you but never acknowledging it they just tickle you like crazy knowing how badly they’re getting you 😭 (that one) or when they’re just smiling and laughing with you throughout the tickling

- “Sorry” won’t save you”

- “I’m going to tickle you until you ____”

- “Where do you think you’re going?” with that “😏” smirk

- ^ When they’re tickling and you just keep rolling or squirming away and they keep pulling you back to them everytime 😭

- When something silly happens during the tickling and you both laugh together in sync (such a cute bonding moment 🩷)

So, what does your art look like?

So the dude on the left is my self insert. He’s an easily flustered introvert so shy about every aspect about himself, yet his laugh is that of a maniacal extrovert, who isn’t afraid to let the world know “hey, I’m extremely ticklish!” He wears overly baggy shirts to hide his pudgy, ticklish belly, which most of his lers tend to discover when having a go at his ticklish torso.

The girl on the right is an OC I created. Her name is Dani Darewolfe (like daredevil and werewolf combined). She is an 19 year old college freshman and is a wolf/human hybrid. She’s extremely shy herself, yet has a mischievous side that is very much interested in tickling, and she often uses her tail to tease those who are ticklish! She’s very shy about tickling, but once she finds a lee who is comfortable with tickling and fun to tickle, she will open up and give them hell!

I drew up these two around early September (2024). The shading in Dani’s top looked extremely sloppy, so i went in a colored it on my phone lol not quite there yet with digital art, sadly.

I just wanted to share this tribute to a very important person who brought the biggest part of my childhood to life.

I’ve loved Thomas the Tank Engine since I was (at least) three years old and still do to this day.

Britt Allcroft was a visionary and an artist who understood the Thomas stories and understood children, and knew how to adapt them in such a way that children would understand without straying too far from the original stories. She respected the series so damn well and brought these beloved stories, as well as her own, to life.

Britt Allcroft had a sense of magic like no other and designed the Thomas episodes in such a way that they felt like an actual magical island to escape to and spared no imagination. She gave Thomas her all and in turn it touched millions of hearts.

She loved Thomas and she loved her audience and her audience felt that love through these stories.

Thank you, Britt Allcroft for these myriad of childhood memories I will never, ever let go of.
