October 19. A tree branch

So. Today I procrastinated, and has some personal issues. By the time I started drawing, I wanted to draw a bat hanging from a tree branch....but I have seem what the hour was, and have seen that there was not enough time. So I just drew the tree branch.

October 16. A little owl drawing

So. Today I tried something more complicated. So here is a little owl perched on a human arm. Not happy with the arm proportions, or with the number of feathers, and there I stil some remains from the erased parts. And the rest....it does not seem bad to me, but there is still room for improvement.

So. Trump just won. And actually won the popular vote?

What the fuck?

The level of conformism, submissivness to authority, authoritarianism, and ignorance to let this happen is mind boggling.

Well....ugh. I  just going to mentally prepare for the comming economic collapse. Just right when the economic conditions of my own family where starting to improve.

Well, I feel sad, for Palestine, for Ukraine, for the climate, for USA ethnic minorities, for humanity in general.

Let's just hope that the Republicans are incompetent enough that they loose in 2028.

This animal is on the edge of extinction. Trump just fired the people trying to save it.

Job cuts and frozen funding could inch one of the world’s rarest species even closer to extinction.

DOGE just froze funding to vital Federal and Indigenous conservation programs devoted to supporting the very delicate and tenuous existence of the black-footed ferret.

I fell in love with these animals as a kid traveling to our National Parks. Their rarity and ferocity made me sharply aware, even as a child, of just how much of a responsibility we have toward our environment. I can't bear the thought of them being a fucking casualty of Trump and Musk.

Look at them! They do war dances.

October 18. My attempt at drawing a bat.

Today I tried attempt to draw a bat. The result was...not the best. I guess it is good for a beginner, but the arm fingers, and the nose and ears are parts I am not happy. On a lesser level, I am also not happy about the feet. But on the other hand....I am happy i drew something today.

If Trump gets four more years he’ll have the chance to appoint 2-4 more justices. That’s thirty more years at least of ultra conservative far right rulings taking away our rights. Look at the damage they’ve done in just the past eight years!

October 12. My even worse attempt at drawing an owl.

Today I tried again to draw an owl. But anyway, I was busy, tired, and got in a hurry, and the owl drawing has been even worse then yesterday. Well. Lets hope that tomorrow I do it better.
