He would, without hesitation

Kepler: I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet whiskey.

Bruce: Dick, this week, an aspect of training will be that you will need to adapt to sudden aereal acceleration and your task will be to initiate maneuvers for a safe landing facing the cause of it.

Alfred: Master Bruce?

Dick: What?

Bruce: I'll throw you around unexpectedly. You must not hit your head and land facing me. Can you do that, chum?

Dick: If I can? I got this! You could throw me in my sleep!

Alfred: Master Dick...!

Not to make it too angsty on this fine Thursday morning but I was thinking about how Bruce probably had to train Dick out of that performer's instinct to hit the landing, pause, and smile. Movement is life in Gotham, and while sometimes there is time to linger, it's never a given. Waiting for a reaction isn't always a luxury they have.

You need to already be planning your next move while you're in the air. You need to be comfortable with the fact that the ground might not be where you thought it was by the time your feet come down. Your enemy might not be where they were before you jumped. Your eyes should be on the threat at all times, and if that's not possible, you should be trying to land in a way that gives you the best vantage point when you're on solid ground again.

Dick getting thrown in that gifset is so fascinating to me. He's doing all those things in mid-air. He didn't expect to be thrown, but he didn't fumble the landing at all. He hit it, kept his head down low and safe, and took a breath while evaluating the situation calmly from afar. That kind of training doesn't happen overnight.

Real question

Is Rilla a magnet for bi messes or for messes in general?

Kid!Dick, kicking his legs up on the front dash, looking at Bruce driving: Are we there yet?

Bruce, driving to Kansas on their “first big road trip” at Dick’s suggestion: No.

[ten minutes later]

Dick: Are we there yet?

Bruce: Get your feet off the dashboard chum.

Dick, grumbles but crisscrosses his legs: Yeah but are we there yet?

Bruce: Still no.

[five minutes later]

Dick, turning the radio on and off.

Bruce: Why don’t you do some reading chum?

Dick, doesn’t look up: Makes me sick.

Bruce: Okay…

[minute later]

Dick, trying to climb out the open car window.

Bruce, frantically trying to pull him back.

[ten minutes later]

Dick, smiling wildly with windswept hair: Are we there yet?

Bruce, tired, just wants to sleep, shirt crinkled, rethinking all of his life choices: Not even close.

Hilariously, If This Conversation Had Actually Happened In The Show, So Much Could Have Been Averted.

Hilariously, if this conversation had actually happened in the show, so much could have been averted. Or really, any kind of conversation regarding what the hell was going on would have helped by miles.

They (thew phones) do it on purpose. One-day phones are going to take over the world. They are too bright because they want  you blind so you do not see the facts! But phones are not just good at making you literally blind they are also masters of misdirection a new tweet here some updates there look at these new videos. But everything’s just a play that will end in disaster...

But don’t mind me, I’m just your typical conspiracy theorist <3

Still Too Bright

still too bright
