I'm sorry I wasn't really thinking and maybe forgot that latest fp for a moment therešš
Is jackson's mom also your mom?
I dont have any parents I'm a supernatural being
So I have a theory that Jackson's Diary is less of a supernatural and more of a story about two mentally ill people with magic involved and I decided to reread it and keep notes on anything and everything that supports that theory
PS:much easier if you read the chapter after or while reading these notes
Chap16 notes:
°very impressed with how exer cover his tracks when he made Jackson hallucinate at the start of the chapter and later on. Also worried for what that means in the later seasons. Maybe keep that in mind too

Chap17 notes:
ā¢exer stopping just to glare at Pamela before following David and ron, this is like the glare he gave jack when he saw him talk to Brenda, he's threatening Pamela and unlike Jackson she got the message
ā¢exer has all the cards on the palm of his hand, he first set up jack with the skirt accident then after it got solved and he found out the skirt was Pam's and after David suggested they go to the record store which he seems to know pamela works in so he purposely made jack hallucinate an angry pamela while keeping his eyes out of Jack's(and our) vision every time it happens then not making him hallucinate in the store once the real pam appears so jack believes she's not real and mess up
About their memories. Annabel lee isn't just going backwards and lenore forward; Annabel is remembering faster and more compared to lenore
Moreover Annabel remembers the trivial memories, the supposedly less important ones.
For example Lenore would remember Annabel's first and last visits while Annabel would remember lenore showing up as Leo and a casual picnic together.
So basically lenore remembers being inlove with Annabel while Annabel remembers falling inlove with Lenore.
It's why Annabel is so hopelessly devoted and lenore isn't. Lenore remembers Annabel saying she wants her to have a better life even if she(Annabel) is forced into needlepoint. Annabel remembers the why
As much as I hate saying it; I think this is all because Annabel was more attached in life, that she loved lenore more than lenore loved her and it carried into Nevermore.
Happy Birthday NJ šš
Is Halloween your birthday?
Yeah
When writing stories with ensemble casts do you find yourself liking/writing more for certain characters? How do you write for characters that arenāt necessarily your favorites? Like I know Lenore and Annabel are more main than the rest so how do you manage the others? And how do you make them all so unique from each other?
If there's ever a character I feel like I haven't connected with, I just assume it's because I haven't "found" them yet. Like, sometimes you need to do a little searching to find the thread in them you can latch onto, if that makes sense? So whenever I feel disconnected from a character, I try to go back to that thread, and I don't proceed until I can feel it and am able to follow it myself. I name the threads as I go, like - it might be something like "paranoia", "mask", "disgust", "worthless" - like, core character themes/trajectories/feelings? - and naming the threads keeps them really different from each other. Because once you know the core of a character, you can stick to it really closely and then it's easy to notice if there's too much overlap with others. That's all really floaty and weird, how I described that. I don't know if I sounds insane or what, lol. But I swear that it makes sense in my head. tldr; I can more easily connect with certain characters than others. But I connect pretty deeply with all of them once I am able to "find" them. And after that, they're all very fun to write.
So does he have his own room or not-?
Do you and devious exer sleep together or does he have his own room?
Sometimes we sleep together, sometimes...
