reblog drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima shizayaweek2023 ikam177 ahh it's been a while since the last shizaya week and your art gets better!! i really like the way you drew them here izaya's face is particularly cute cute to me being especially pleasing to look at with the shapes and lines he still looks like a menace i really like his sly expression with the little pinch of exertion he looks good worn out and clutching at himself and his hair has a nice soft look to it it falls over his face nicely your fluffy hair shizuo is such a distinct look too the way it looks particularly tousled here is cute shizuo's expression like he's genuinely caught of guard is izaya planning to blow them up together or something

reblog drrr we love to see it fic AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA shizaya wwlb glaciesdraco my finger slipped on to the caps lock but it works by the way izaya takes psychic damage is my new favourite phrase now shizuo is so obstinant it hurts ''he's just trying to get everyone to start looking for him'' procedes to start looking for him simon tell him he has an izaya complex shizuo blaming izaya for strolling back into his life when he is absolutely nowhere to be found it hurts to know that shizuo is right but in all the wrong ways i hope the orihara twins are allowing themselves to cry a little like they said they would but that's not shizuo's right to know what he does need to know is how hard he truly beat izaya down i love that he can't help but *care* so much despite himself and that he's kind of realising how the mindset he's been trying to live by for so long just doesn't quite work like he thinks it does izaya is so obstinant it hurts but it actually hurts and i don't quite blame him for refusing to surrender what they want from him i suppose it's one way to have izaya face his issues but be careful with him he's fragile :( he's doing his best to hold on to a semblance of anything and it's such a sad image that oozes exhaustion i really like the aspect of forcing izaya to speak in english it's a very subtle way to wear him down very characteristic for this sort of torture you describe perfectly as a slow-acting poison which is slowly but surely diminishing at his sense of self ooh that comparison to a bottom feeder hit all the worst places yikes i have a lot more i want to say about shizuo and how effective izaya's torture is but i hadn't even made it out of russia sushi before realising there was no way i'd fit it all in 30 tags so here's the abridged version now to compose everything into a slightly more coherent director’s cut showing in your comment section hopefully soon

reblog drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima potatofu catching up on reblogs at the very end of the month as i do this was a lovely christmas surprise thank you shizuo carrying izaya + in the winter is very good food i said this before but i really do love the expressions here izaya's is such bastard you capture some ratty sorta sharpness in him and i like it a lot he acts like he isn't huddled up in his fuzzy hood draped all over shizuo's body heat with his face all red a great look on him btw i really like shizuo's head tilt and the general lean in his pose mildly irritated blush we love to see it i like how the shadow falls over more of his face idk the contrast looks cool stop complimenting the way you draw their hair challenge but no i like the swoops of it and i like how you drew their noses? something about them looks particularly really nice here everything looks even better than before animation school has been doing you well also the snow effects and increased vibrancy of the colours add a lot to the vibe!! something about the warm tones and noise filter look kinda retro to me idk but i like it welcome back (for now) i'm glad you seem to be well!!

''so i can call you by your name obviously'' ''your loss shizu-chan'' during marbles izaya yaks on about how fascinating it is that the games reinforce human connections by making them choose teams to work tog right before violently ripping them apart by pitting them against their partner of choice of course they all would've had to go against each other eventually if they want to win but by taking advantage of the all too human weakness to latch on to their personal attachments in spite of the lack of information it serves as the most devastating reminder of the nature of these games that they've all signed up to all the while maintaining their idea of personal autonomy but we won’t have to worry about that because you're a monster aren’t you shizu-chan? in my mind this izaya came here to observe human nature when pit against each other like this and get away with some bank while he's at it and if you want to go with ji yeong’s backstory he’s already taken the life of a human who should’ve been a meaningful connection to him so he’s probably aci style lost about what to do with himself but the least he can do is prove that this dumb brute is a monster by giving haha sorry for going off in the tags but holy shit you just gave me another brain worm thanks

reblog comic angry ayano tateyama shuuya kano shintaro kisaragi kgpr tsubomi kido kousuke seto kidocone ahh the sunset gradient is really pretty the street looks cute in the flat perspective ayano looks really snappy with the sharp angles of your art style but also feral and it works so well here her anguished expression where she looks and kano looking so hurt even as he's breaking down in her arms she doesn't look like she regrets what she did i love the feelings there and in the daze the complete despondency in her eyes and acceptance as she just sits there with that tranquil gaze i really like that panel something about it has a lot of feeling in the absence of it ayano with her hair out or is that yaki but she looks so tired and undone in that panel the shintaro expression and colours are really warm and her sitting on the desk looks really cute but also too warm? if that makes sense

reblog PRETTY drrr shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima hallucxnating you gave them some really flattering angles on their face in that first pose they look dare i say shizuo's expression there is a very cute combination of startled and flustered and irritated the dichotomy between his hands and the way he holds izaya pick a struggle shizuo i like izaya's theatre ass pose with his silly little hand gestures and you make the fuzzy coat lining look really nice idk i keep looking at the way the hood falls back i really like how it looks there and i like the watercolour shading you did especially the splotches for the hair highlights it has a nice organic look to it anyways the aftermatch haha they exchanged blood it's like a metaphor dude looks so much greasier and the way his hands are twined into each other looks like copium behaviour i appreciate the little namie it's cute and she doesn't take shit sidenote heyy i remember you from the svtfoe days lol haven't really kept up with your art since then but imagine my surprise suddenly seeing your name again in the wild with these guys i'd have two nickles for artists i recognise from previous fandoms suddenly getting into shizaya around like may or something 2023 and if you're asking no i don't think you know me i don't keep up much of a fandom presence but yeah woah it's cool seeing the immense improvement from your art back then and you're still into noragami which is cool seeing new artists drop by to draw for this series long after its prime is really cool i hope you enjoy your time here
