Title: Magic Baby: The Tale Of The Accidental Baby Acquisition

I love the idea of the Washer Woman being the sensible adult in Binghe's life in the Demon Prince Binghe Au. I can see Tianlang reading him romance novels as a kid while Su Xiyan chooses books on cultivation and how to crush ones enemies. Washer woman has lectured them both on child appropriate practices more than once, Tianglang more than Su Xiyan.

Imagine young Binghe getting cursed as a puppy one day and wandering off, tired, hungry, and injured only to be rescued Qing Jing Peak Disciple Shen Yuan who nurses him back to health . Washer woman ends up being the one to retrieve the prince since she's human and not considered to be a traitor like Su Xiyan.

Afterwards, Binghe can't stop gushing about his fateful meeting with the beautiful shimei he met (Shen Yuan was so pretty he thought he was girl).

Tianlang: That's my son, not even ten and he's already found his future wife! Not only that, but a cultivator to boot! But wait, the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect despise demons and would never permit one of their own to court a demon which their love would be forbidden! Ahh this just like the plot of Love Amongst Thorns where the heroine ends riding into battle on a dragon and then diving into a volcano to save her lover, the enemy general!

Xiyan: If she is a cultivator like you say, you'll have to become strong enough to defeat the peak lords Cang Qiong Mountain sect, for they will not let her go without a fight. Of course, it's a war they want, it's a war they'll get.

BONUS: I just picture Shen Yuan being the equivalent of a Disney Princess in this AU but being completely oblivious to it. Except instead of cute woodland creatures, various monsters and other creatures are drawn to him. He is also confused as to why so many people are surprised he's a guy

Personally I was imagining shen yuan as some wandering cultivator. Binghe's hanging out in a forest when some demon planning to kidnap the prince shows up and is immediately beaten up by the handsome man who was passing through.

Binghe: PLEASE COME HOME AND MEET MY PARENTS

Shen yuan: aww if you insist..

Shen yuan is a bit nervous but overall glad the demon prince protagonist doesn't seem to hate him. Binghe is ecstatic the nice man agreed to have a meeting with his parents to discuss marriage ..

Shen yuan actually gets hired to be binghes tutor. Binghe needs to work on his human cultivation as well as his demonic cultivation, and while su xiyan would be happy to be her sons shizun, she's getting so damn annoyed with binghe bringing shen yuan up every two seconds

Marinette does care about Lila but not in the same way, she doesn't want her lies hurting her friends. In my AU they don't believe the bad things she says about Mari cause like- they know her. But like people often are, they give her the benefit of the doubt, and Lila is smart, she realizes she can't just lie about anything, especially since the class does actually know celebrities. She plays the long con game, having to take a different more subtle approach, she blames Marinette for making it harder for her to get what she wants. Marinette tries to keep tabs on her but there's only so much she can do, especially with her responsibilities, so there are people who fall on Lila's side, but none of them are Marinette's friends. (Kagami would never believe this girl over Marinette. I'm sorry, but no)

Lila pretends she's close with Mr. Bug in this AU, she has seen how Lady Noire isn't publicly loved as much and jumps on that, this is what gets her more popularity, since Adrien is a sweet boy, he doesn't want to publicly humiliate Lila, especially since it might draw Hawkmoths attention to her. In this AU Alya of course is start struck with the idea of Lila knowing Mr. Bug, but isn't irrational enough to place that in her blog to make her a target. So it just remains in their group that Lila told, Adrien coming as Mr. Bug to prove her wrong might end up causing more problems in his head. She does start spreading rumours to gain more interest from their friend group, jumping on the narrative that Mr. Bug had told her he doesn't really like Lady Noire, the public isn't really aware how much she does because it's the miraculous ladybugs that fix everything, so he must be the one in charge. Lila also spreads rumours that she has actually talked with Lady Noire and just insults her character, lying about how she doesn't care about Paris and that she generally was really rude. Lila doesn't actually care about the heroes, but she realized it was an easy way to get attention and trust from the classmates as long as she was careful about it, people are easily swayed by gossip and fear. Alya was on her side up until she was Rena Rouge, quickly deleted all the old theories Lila helped her come up with from her blog after that. (She becomes Rena after Lila is introduced in my AU).

Although I don't actually see SJ coming across LeviathYuan and deciding to take him with him/interacting. Man is too paranoid and aware of his weaknesses.

I need you to know that when I first went to answer this, I had to go back and check what I wrote yesterday because I swear I was in a haze that consisted almost entirely of "j-jiu-thuehtawhyjiuyuanjaif-jgieh-gjiyjiy-jyuah--ahahuhanahiyijuayangon--" and I don't even know what was going on in my little brain. (I say, actively rechecking it as I write this)

Okay so now that Shen Jiu is feeling more frustrated by Leviathyuan's kindness, I think that he would absolutely go out of his way to try and trip him up. Like, try and prove to himself that Leviathyuan is just acting and that he will eventually trip himself up if Shen Jiu pushes just enough! With this plan in mind, he begins to be...not. Friendly, but a little kinder. Speaking more comfortably, referring to him as "Yuan-di" (or "Yuan-ge" if you want) and then trying to inconspicuously check how Leviathyuan reacts to this.

The issue is that there's literally no change in how Leviathyuan acts because the human's body language isn't changing or anything, and even if it had, he's hardwired into politeness. The land demons may be used to taking and snatching and fighting for what they want, but aquatic demons are much more chill and all you gotta do is be polite down there, because they understand that there's a food chain and they're all very aware of how their ecosystem works. "Oh you hungry? Sure you can eat me, thanks for asking!!"

All this to say that as Leviathyuan starts learning human language, he's like the politest person ever. "You have food specifically for me that you laid out for me and nobody else can eat?...May I please have some?" Shen Jiu is like offering Leviathyuan a hand up after a lesson or something (to catch him off guard and see if he takes more than he's allowed) and the demon just stares at his hand before being like "can I touch your hand so you can help me up?" (In broken Chinese of course) And Shen Jiu is like "???? A respectful man thing?????"

In the background, there's Yue Qingyuan who is hearing Shen Jiu acting more familiar with Leviathyuan and is like "I'm glad Xiao-Jiu is making friends ☺️" as if he isn't about to explode. He is genuinely pleased that someone else is being friendly and kind to Shen Jiu, but like....DAMN IT, at the same time. (Shang Qinghua is watching this all go down and is watching in horror as Yue Qingyuan crushes his third teacup of the day.)

You could argue that bingge would have a lot more 🔞 Yeah sure, but i think not as much as bingmei because even though bingge was the local harem collector in another universe, he genuinely hates SY so much that if he could, he would beat the shit out of him and leave his guts on the wall so his sister would find them (yk classic bingge behavior), but can’t because he’s admitted to himself that without SY’s care he’s useless

Bingge would hate SY so much because SY treat him like a baby. A stupid, little baby who doesn’t know how to operate the damn washing mashing. Bingmei would stand in front of the washing machine and patiently wait for SY to catch him loitering about like an NPC just so he gets the thrill of being noticed by his yuan-gege. Meanwhile, bingge would shove his not-safe washing machine clothes that SY bought for him online with clothes that can stain the entire clothes bunch into the machine and press a bunch of buttons not fully understanding what everything says because it’s in traditional chinese, and watch hours later as SY picks through the waching machine, face distraught as he folds every piece of clothing that’s now stained with pink (bingge accidentally added one of shen-mei’s shirts into the pile without noticing)

he would sit crisscrossed on the floor, seething in raw hate as SY towers over him in his skinny, short glory, pulling on bingge’s ear as he crashes out about hundreds of clothing pieces being ruined. It’s not even his clothes. It’s bingge’s. Which is why he’s even madder, because… gee, SY doesn’t know why, but this seems like a reasonable crashout reason and he’s been needing a reason to go apeshit, so yeah

Bingge’s hate would turn to despite because SY would force him to wear said pink clothes for a whole month. Everywhere.

Why on his inner thigh? idk, SY isn’t that smart sometimes. He supposes that when he’s stripped for an autopsy they’ll just find this hard drive taped on him and mark LBG as a main suspect because SY’s word doc said so

Later on in their roommate-ship, binggeyuan goes from being liujiu toxicity levels to romantic, and when bingge is stripping SY for papapa SY completely forgets about the hard drive taped on him, so when bingge removes his lower clothes and spreads SY’s legs he just blue screens

LBG: yuan

SY: extremely horny, almost whining ?????

LBG: you weren’t lying about the “google doc”, weren’t you

SY: what.

So now the papapa is paused because SY now has to plug in the drive into his computer and show bingge what’s on it and bingge’s like “damn. he’s an even bigger obsessor than i am.” And bingge just get more horny from that. Binggeyuan bed shenanigans ensue

meanwhile while all of this is happening bingmei is desperately trying and embarrassingly failing to make SY understand that He!! Has!! A!! Crush!! On!! Him!!!!! SY, please!!!!!!!!

Ethari: So many happy tears. Not only beacuse the baby looks alot like a tiny version of it's mom, but also because it's face is reminiscent of the baby's maternal grandmother, Tiadrin. Runaan: his broody nature completely disappears and, more shockingly, he talks to the baby with the most ridiculously adorable voice ever.

Ezran: has to really restrain himself not to go absolutely feral. Cutest thing he has ever seen. Promises to be best uncle ever. Zym: is really confused because when he heard that Rayla ''gave birth'' he thought she laid the ''egg'' she's been carrying, because no one has told him how mammals reproduce yet(he also thinks the baby is tiny and super cute regardless). Soren: idk he probably points finger guns at Callum and say ''hey Callum, nice baby''. Corvus: shakes their hands and congratulate them like a normal human being.

I finally got around to writing a one-shot for the Tears of the Kingdom au I've been planning!

Summary:

For so long now, Ezran, with Rayla, has been desperately attempting to find his big brother. He's prayed just about every night that they would find something, anything, about Callum's whereabouts, but he wasn't expecting his prayers to be answered any time soon, and he certainly wasn't expecting them to be answered in such a painful way.

Ezran sobs out a whole Final Fantasy 7 reference after finding out his brother is dead in every way that matters because this is a Tears of the Kingdom au and Callum is Zelda (yayyyyyy!!)
