Inktober 2018 Day 2
“Tranquil”
Here’s day two. I’m not behind on the actual art, just in the posting. Shhhhhh. I think i prefer the sketch for this one more. Plus i think I cheated because i didnt want to whip out the india ink for this and the next one so i just used my micron pens DX
So for all those who know next to nothing about me: I love bugs. Specifically preying mantis and dragonflies cause they are badasses. I’ve been feeling a little bit of art block lately with drawing humans and doing more experimentation into color and digital art, so I wanted to go back to my comfort zone for a bit. This is the result after looking at a whole bunch of “creepy crawlies” that I love so damn much. I will probably add some lazy colors to this at some point just cause I’m starting to somehow enjoy the struggle of it?? Nothing better than a little pain and suffering right? Inktober 2018 Day 31
“Slice”
I am a major slut for pretty and fluid animation, and because this prompt reminded me of Genji, I decided he would be my muse for this day. You might recognize the pose from the Dragons short when he slices Hanzo’s arrow. That scene gave me shivers.
Alrighty so quick update on life: I now have a real deal art table to work at!!! My parents saw it at a garage sale for only $10; a great price so of course they took the deal! Can't wait to get cranking on art work this summer. Just gotta let school end....and get myself a chair XD
Three guys are for a creature design project I'm working on in school. Gonna be painting and drawing them at large soon. I'm really liking this concept though!! Also, I'll be trying to post more often here instead of just doing reblogs, so stay tuned.
Inktober 2018 Day 8
“Star”
To be honest, I attempted this one twice, but I hated the first attempt because its was waaaaayyy too dark. It kinda got my spirits down, so I just kinda gave up for this day and did this which was much easier.

Another dude I made but using this weird watercolor ink stuff. Unfortunately its not waterproof like my india ink so I had to work around that aspect and work with any of the color bleeds. Still, was pretty fun to do and I enjoy the result. Might do a similar design like this again, but with gold and yellow inks instead. We shall see. Gotta get my hands on some of those colors tho, cause the brown and green seen here are a gift from my bestie.
A guy I made when I first received my anatomy books. I must say that the ribs and intercostal muscles where great fun to draw. It was with this piece that I realized that normal 2B pencils can't really get the darks I am looking for. I can also say that this is when I realized that sketchbook paper should not be used for more serious drawings, as it's way too flimsy. Oh well, live and learn.
Inktober 2018 Day 17
“Swollen”
Poor babu wolf twisted its ankle. Dontcha hate when that happens??
Couldn’t be bothered to pull out the india ink for this and Bottle so I didn’t.

Inktober 2018 Day 29
“Double”
I’ve always loved what people can come up with for tattoo designs, so for this one, i decided to try my hand at it. I loveeeee the results.
