Can anyone refer me to any USA (or perhaps even Michigan specific) resources to get a service animal when you can't afford it? I know there are programs out there to help and even that can help you manage ongoing expenses. I need an animal to help with my depression and anxiety and perhaps also remind me to take my meds and go outside and stuff... And motivate me to keep going and work and stuff...

I look back down, to see you looking up at me.

I softly pat your head, and tell you to go back to sleep.

You groan and shut your eyes with ease, not a speck of doubt in them.

It brings me great joy knowing that I am your safe place, as you are mine.
