Fuck this person in particular, because I still have more to say that cannot be hidden away in a comment section. If you accuse me of being a J.K Rowling supporter when I’ve went as far as to burn the books I’ve had since childhood and drop life long friends over funding her bigotry by still visiting filming sights and buying merchandise I have a right to speak about it. Especially when they’re still watching the films on streaming sights and planning to watch the new series.
So here I am, addressing my need because it was so sweetly implied and not at all a condescending threat.
Despite popular belief fandoms like The Marauders have little to no connection with the main series other than the names of said characters. Taking part in The Marauders fandom brings J.K Rowling no profit, and considering the fact a majority of these characters have been used as outlets to express queer issues (and likely still will when people move onto the next big thing, forgetting about trans rights in the UK entirely) I see no issue in it.
By taking part in this fandom I am not screaming my support to a known bigot, I am simply connecting with other LGBTQ+ people and minorities who needed a template to express themselves through. The Marauders fandom is that template for me and for many.
I myself am a queer trans man, and I’ve been aware of my true self since I was 13. You cannot even imply I do not support my trans sisters, brothers, and siblings when ones in the past have given their lives for us to live now. Do not paint me to be some bigoted prick with your little question.
I’m in the UK. I’m in the country she actively harmed with her blood money. Do you think it makes me happy, to know I can’t go outside without being unsafe because transphobes take this new law as a reason to act against us with violence? No. I fucking don’t.
I’ve been hate-crimed before. I’ve almost been jumped for being myself, so don’t you or anyone else dare treat me and others like an inferior trans person for being in a fandom that has hated the author before this news even came out.
And I am so sorry, for taking comforts where I can; knowing my life has just gotten unchangeably harder because of a court bribe. I will paint characters she has no care for as LGBTQ+ people, because I fucking can, because it’s natural for me to react to this news with all the spite I can muster.
So again, fuck you and stop policing people on an online space. You want to make a real impact? Protest, sign petitions, spread the word to family and friends. Despite it making you feel miles better starting things with strangers on the internet who by the way, have no way to get the message across to J.K Rowling; if you want to spread this message over the internet gather a group and confront her- for fucks sake, even hack her. Don’t attack people who don’t support her.
As a Christian who’s LGBTQ+ I am so tired of people using their religions as an excuse for hatred and bigotry. ‘Oh uhm uhm uhm the bible said uhm uhm’
SILENCE WENCH. Religion isn’t about the literature, it’s about the lessons it teaches you. Christianity teaches you to be mindful of others, not to judge people based on what they can’t change but most of all it preaches acceptance. By being a homophobic, transphobic, racist asshole you are not preaching that acceptance.
You’re just being a terrible human being and using something that’s meant to comfort and bring people together as an excuse.

Associating Kate Bush’s Army Dreamers with the Black brothers fills me with a sort of pain I can’t even describe.
I’ve always imagined it in Sirius’ perspective, because despite the fact they both had parents we know deep down they are not the ones who raised the two. Sirius has been a father figure to Regulus since he could remember, and Sirius was most likely taken care of by a house elf or nanny.
Regulus turning to the Dark Lord didn’t change that, he would always be Sirius’ little brother- the one he tried to pull away with him when he realised how bad his parents views actually were. When he suspected Regulus of being a spy for The Order.
His death broke a part of Sirius irreparably, when he heard the news he probably couldn’t believe it. Even if Dorcas was likely the one who told him. No one would want to believe their little brother, the boy they raised, is gone.
Only because he got Involved with a war neither of them wanted to be a part of, and not to mention dead because of it. It was Regulus’ dream to be a part of The Order, Dumbleldore’s army. He didn’t want to be defined by bigotry anymore.
Regulus was an Army Dreamer, and if Sirius could turn back time he’d crush that dream beneath his feet and take them away from it all. Regulus didn’t make it to his 20’s. His life was wasted for the ‘greater good’. They were child soldiers, not because either wanted to fight.
They were soldiers because they had no other people to give their lives to.
@n0r
The fucking audacity of the judge to say that ruling the definition of woman is based purely on biological sex “is not a triumph of one side over another.”
As if this hasn’t just fucking decimated trans rights in the UK, made transphobia practically law and blatantly supporting the work of groups like the LGB Alliance.
How fucking dare they.

Sirius cried in science class when the nature documentary showed the family of birds leaving unhatched eggs because they couldn’t stay where the predators were.
Two minutes after they left one hatched and tried to run after them.
Because if one of them just turned around, or if the chick didn’t give up trying to reach the others, everything would be okay.
in another universe where peter had balls 💔
sorry yall just a sketch this time 😔
unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy
In another world I think James Potter and Sirius Black started the ‘would you love me if I was a worm?’ trend by asking the question then transfiguring pictures of themselves into one. I can’t even explain my reasoning behind this, it just makes a stupid amount of sense to me.
