god i may be crazy but i think that bev put that rat poison on father Paul's water somehow
here, when sarah was checking on paul, bev filled a glass of water for him to drink
after on the same day there was a man that I forgot the name now that was fixing his sink and minutes later paul came inside the house and died from poisoning, just like joe's dog when bev poisoned it
and earlier on that episode bev was putting the poison back on the shelf. why would they show it suddenly?
pls tell me I'm not crazy I've never seen anyone talking about it
thinking of that one scene from the incredibles but applying it to john and arthur where johns hand starts feeling up to arthur's jaw and arthur thinks hes just being weird until john decks him in the face skshfmnfnc
[Start ID: Three panel sketch comic of John and Arthur from Malevolent. Arthur is a stout man with a mustache and slightly messy, short side parted hair. He's wearing a collared shirt with a tie, his sleeves are rolled up past his elbows. First panel, John's hand grasps at Arthur's shirt, patting around. Arthur peers down at the movement confused. Second panel, Arthur looks even more confused as John's hand feels along his jaw. He says, "J...John, what are you-?". Third panel, Arthur is cut off when John's arm decks him across the face, Arthur staggers to the ground. A tiny disembodied John face (represented by an oval shaped face with four eyes and angry eyebrows) yells "FUCK YOU!!!" End ID.]
gotta get to the bottom of this!!!
Ok i can't be the only one who's uncomfortable with how unanimously Arthur and John (not as much but it does happen) treat anyone they deem to be cultists as just subhuman and unworthy of mercy. Like I think the only time that mindset is challenged was during season 3, and even then it was more of a blanket statement about Arthur's missing compassion.
I don't know, just something about the vicious and unabashedly contemptful way they talk about even neutral or unseen cultists is really gross to me. Like yeah yeah it's become sort of a running gag in the fandom but it's a little unsettling to watch a protaganist leave people to die horrific deaths on the basis of being part of a religious group. And don't say "oh but they've killed and maimed!" He let Collins out of prison to work with him and employ his services as a reputably brutal and talented hitman who enjoys the hunt with zero qualms.
I'm not saying all the cultist characters are good people, but for a story with an axis of forgiveness skewed heavily in favour of characters who have commited cruel and gruesome violence against other people, it's seems like a weird line to draw so firmly
Just an extremely Normal thing to say
Reminder they want to increase the budget for ICE from 3.5 to 45 billion dollars.
Reminder the majority of that will be for building new detention centers.
Reminder ICE are *currently* detaining tourists who can pay for a plane ticket home and people with visa issues that were already resolved, because they have to make quota so Trump can brag about the numbers going up.
Reminder most of these people were already in the immigration system - that's why they were easy to detain.
Reminder this is all at taxpayer expense.
Reminder these are people.
