me, discovering that any seemingly interesting piece of media is based on a book: okay but what if i read the book first? just, you know, to ruin my watching experience by being busy pointing out all the tiny and pointless differences

Happiness Will Come To You.
This is my first post, I never thought I would ever post on this blog but well, here I am.
The thing I'm most afraid of, with the release of this film, is that people who do not know the story of Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani, being the latter the protagonist of the film, may begin to admire her as the aesthetic of the 'woman killing her billionaire sugar daddy' and stuff like that.
Patrizia Reggiani is a sociopath who even after serving her sentence in prison does not regret having killed the father of her daughters.
Talk about Maurizio.
Say his name, do him justice.
Talk about the money he donated to charity, his good heart, his need for love after losing his mother at a very young age.
Talk about Maurizio Gucci, not Patrizia Reggiani. Don't let her win, don't give her attention.
