America always has to be quirky š
I forced my mom to watch Young Royals with me and she said her two favorite characters are Feliceās roomie from season 1 and the therapist š like huh?? Who?
This is seriously one of the only apps I feel good on rn
I just think itās funny how arguably the smartest characters (who are often favorites too because of their ability to see the smaller things and figure them out) all start out as crazy, unrealistic, deranged, insane, analyzing too much, imaginative, paranoid, and, well, delusional. Yet they end up being right. The characters who figure everything out for everyone, only do it because of their āinsanity.ā (This is mostly about Joyce and Murray, but honestly Nancy too). However, when fans analyze and try to explain the same way (for a show too, not a telekinetic Russian girl, a show written by those very same people who wrote their ādelusionalā characters to be right) itās somehow unrealistic and inaccurate? Not needed, when thatās how everything in the show is done? Just a bit ironic (and a slight bit hypocritical to be honest).
I know youāre mentally ill/neurodivergent if you change your Home Screen every couple of weeks
Least delusional m*leven tbh because 1) Yeah, heās supposed to be comfortable with Will after all those years but⦠the hug? Heās not comfortable with him at all and thatās suspicious. 2) El clearly does show love? I was talking about Mike?
Why have they just started lying and spouting random bs?
The bio. Hwat.
I really donāt trust the major support for Luigi Mangione. There is a certain group that people call elite, globalists, rich, evil, oppressive, etc. even though they arenāt, duh. And I certainly donāt trust Americans with that. Vigilantism shouldnāt be encouraged. The second you say āitās okay for person A to kill person B because this or thatā youāve gone too far because that allows A LOT based on different people. I think of Emmett Till (āits okay for us to do this, because he was being sexually aggressive,ā which we know now that he actually wasnāt). But horseshoe theory I guess. No one has the right to play God (why Iām against the death penalty as well!). Another thing, being violent, as a form of political resistance, shouldnāt be supported. As a queer (white) person, thatās something I really am inspired by as part of the Civil Rights Movement, and wish there was less violence in the history of queer political resistance, since it was non-violence that changed so much in America with civil rights. Now thereās even support for the cyber truck bomb guy. Which, I know no one was killed except for himself, but cāmon, really? Why donāt we all go back to what we learned in elementary school? You canāt fight fire with fire, two wrongs donāt make a right.
Here I am again complaining about people who view ethnic, religious, and other minorities joining the police force as a betrayal and single them out for harassment.
We can clearly see that female officers, black officers, Latino officers, and Asian officers in the NYPD have significantly fewer complaints filed against them then their white male counterparts.
The NYPD is a flawed institution, but we have clear evidence that increasing diversity helps helps fix those flaws!
Even if your long term goal is to not have a police force at all, you should be able to prioritize immediate actual improvement in the system over theoretical revolutionary change.
Writing my little summary so I donāt forget what happens (I memory hoard lol)
