I experienced the traumatic experience of displacement four times with my family in Gaza before I was evacuated alone to Ireland with the help of my Irish college.
No words can describe the fear that engulfs us when we see thousands of leaflets in our sky dropped from Israeli warplanes ordering us to leave for other places that are just as dangerous. It is a tedious and terrible process of packing everything we need, begging bus drivers over the phone (mostly with a feeble phone signal) to come and pick us up at any cost. Unfortunately, displacement and running from death became the daily routine of adults and children alike in Gaza.
When displaced, sniper bullets and indiscriminate heavy bombardment are not the only risks that face my family and other people. Another life-threatening problem facing people in Gaza is the sewage flooding the streets of Gaza after Israel deliberately destroyed most of the infrastructure. This led to the spread of fatal viruses and diseases like Poliomyelitis as announced by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
It pains my heart that my beloved city Gaza has turned into an apocalyptic ghost city where innocent people, children and adults, are indiscriminately killed daily. It is shocking to see this becoming normalized and the extent to which the world has become desensitized. What happened to humanity and human rights?! When will we see a ceasefire and be able to hug and reunite with our families?! When will we wake up from this never-ending nightmare?
The Lifeless corpses of innocent Palestinians decompose in the streets of Gaza and under the rubble. These bodies become food for stray dogs. I wonder what hopes and dreams the person had before he was killed. Did it hurt? Was he scared? Was it fast or painfully slow?! Does he/ she have children? Does his/her family know?! Was he/she unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?! Most importantly, how does one decide what is a wrong place and a wrong time to be when every place and every time in Gaza is wrong?! Survival is nothing but a matter of luck in Gaza.
Imagining that this could be the fate of my family makes me go insane with heart-stopping fear!
With the increasing escalation in the region, hope for a ceasefire in Gaza fades away and I have to live every second of every day with the haunting thoughts that my family could be the next to leave this cruel world brutally. Therefore, I am exerting all efforts to get them out of Gaza and hopefully reunite with them in Ireland where I am continuing my studies.
I cannot do that without your help. Decide today to play a significant role in saving my family in Gaza including many children with a prosperous future ahead of them.

Hello, my name is Basmala Almadhoun, and Iโm 19 years old. I come from a family of seven. In 2023, I graduated from high school with a score of 91%, and I had planned to pursue my dream of studying dentistry at university. I had always imagined spending my days studying hard and working toward a brighter future. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to experience any of that, as the war in Gaza shattered my dreams.
The university I was going to attend was completely destroyed ๐๐in a bombing, and since then, my family and I have been living through unimaginable hardships. The Israeli army ordered civilians to evacuate their homes and head to the south of Gaza for safety. My family and I first sought refuge at Al-Nasr Children's Hospital in the north, then moved to my sisterโs house in Jabalia. However, just after we arrived, a neighboring house was bombed, partially destroying my sister's home, and we narrowly escaped with our lives.
On November 15, 2023, we were forced to move once again, this time to Deir al-Balah, where we are now living in a small tent, as if weโve gone back 50 years in time. We cook over an open fire, wash our clothes by hand, and survive without electricity, gas, or the internet. Prices are high, and we can barely afford basic necessities like food, cleaning supplies, and clothing. My father lost his job, leaving us with no source of income.๐ญ๐
An entire year of my life has been lost, and so has my dream. By now, I should have completed my first year of university. I am asking for help not just to survive, but to rebuild my life and future.
To reunite my family and help us temporarily relocate to a safe place.
To have hope for a new beginning and a chance to recover from the devastation of war.
To rebuild our home and find proper shelter.
To resume my studies abroad and finally pursue my dream of studying dentistry at a prestigious university.

๐๐ I am Noor, living in Gaza. My home has been completely destroyed, along with my future. I moved from a house of 180 square meters to a fabric tent of 4x2, which barely protects me from the cold and the harsh winter. We have survived death several times, and I am taking care of my 11-month-old daughter.
We witness massacres every day, the sound of explosions close to us that almost kill us, epidemics and diseases, and we suffer from these diseases, the most common of which is viral hepatitis due to malnutrition.๐ข
๐จMy husband is sick and needs urgent treatment or maybe surgery.and We have no money.๐
My baby cries every day for what she needs, but the prices are so high. Diapers cost $150, milk $100, and we have no income. I am afraid of losing her. ๐ญ Please, even a small contribution can change our lives forever. If you can donate or even share this request, I would be very grateful.

The war is back again and the occupation army has returned to Rafah, destroying what remains of it. They killed the journalists who transmit the news, and Rafah became alone. We fled from death to an area they said was safe, but it was not. Their missiles pursued us, killing and burning a pregnant woman and her two children in her tent. The children wake up terrified. We cannot move at night because of the large number of planes stationed above us, killing everyone who moves without reason. They closed all the crossings. We can barely find food and a drink of clean water. My children, instead of thinking about toys and sweets, have started thinking about death and missiles. We all sleep in one place. Our greatest dream has become to die together so that we do not regret each other, and we wake up every morning hoping that the conscience of the world and humanity will awaken. Help us, do not leave us alone. Donate to us, publish and write about us. Your donation and support demonstrates your humanity and your belief that we deserve life. A small amount gives us new hope.๐๐๐ญ๐ฅบ๐๐๐๐ต๐ธ
