He is so strict with having good health he will make sure to brush his teeth twice a night, floss, sleep (as best he can), eat nutritious food on a regular basis (again, as best he can), etc etc to the point where you can look into books about good life habits and it's literally just him

Though he tries to do things the proper way, he doesn't actually like hanging out with others outside of work (or even during work) and finds it hard to have friendly facial expressions. This, of course, makes him seem ruder than he actually is. Man rarely smiles (nobody knows if he even can smile) and hardly interacts much less talks to others unless they do so first. Even then, he'll make those interactions brief because people usually try to strike up a conversation while Steb and them are supposed to be focused on their work. If it's during their break then. . . yeah lol they'll still be curt interactions

He prefers being on his own, but he tries not to isolate himself because he knows it's important to be around people and socialize (even if he doesn't want to). Part of the reason he doesn't like socializing with others is because he is such a stickler for having certain behaviors and most others either don't or they are too up-tight for his liking. Just because he likes to do things the proper way doesn't mean he wants to socialize with snobby people that claim to be "proper". It makes him feel like he's at work interacting with superiors and in those cases he'd rather be alone than interact with people like that.

You can pry instructional materials out of his cold dead hands—whether it's cooking instructions, assembly instructions, procedures, etc etc he will follow them to the T. He will use those instructions that come with furniture. He's not the type of man to think it's a hit to his ego if he looks at instructions and in fact judges those who do.

Speaking of cooking, he's a mediocre cook. He would be worse, but following instructions helps him not be so bad. The food is good enough to eat and live off of, but it doesn't have enough oomph because his need to stick to cooking instructions can only go so far in making good food and he lacks natural cooking talent. Since he lives alone and he doesn't mind the mediocrity of the food, he doesn't make a great effort to be better. He'll get better with time, but it's not by much unless he gets a romantic partner or someone else who would possibly rely on his cooking skills. (He'll never be a chef though)

He will review training procedures on a regular basis and does his best to learn from each mistake he makes. Each year he has to do mandatory re-training, he makes sure to take it seriously and doesn't assume that he already knows his stuff. In his mind, the annual training is mandatory for a reason (which is true).

Surprisingly tolerant. He'll judge you over your bad habits, but he does his best to have an even temper. It will take a LOT before he loses his temper and when he does he ends up scolding himself over it. Losing your temper, in his opinion, is never a good thing as intense emotions can lead to irrational decisions/actions you may regret later.

Adding on to the previous bullet point, he refuses to lose his cool or raise to the bait when interacting with criminals/delinquents. It's a part of enforcer training that you have to keep a cool head and deescalate a situation as best you can before resorting to violence and threats. As a medic, he knows the importance of keeping your cool in dangerous/intense situations and, as an enforcer, why one needs to make quick observations without bias. Different law breakers will react differently and require different de-escalation methods which is why—

He gets annoyed being paired with someone who thinks being an enforcer means they can do no wrong compared to a criminal and have power trips over capturing a rowdy individual. Not only is it improper police conduct to not properly attempt to deescalate a situation, but it can cause unnecessary harm with an officer escalating a situation to the point of shooting a criminal or a criminal lashing out violently.

Despite others clowning on him for it, he will treat criminals with dignity and refuses to manhandle the criminal no matter how annoying/frustrating the criminal is. This mindset of his came about from hostage training and the motivations behind someone taking a person or group of people hostage. Law breakers may not be the best people, but they're people too and there are reasons why some (nearly all, if not all) people resort to crime. That and he never personally liked to use his power to hurt people—he's a medic after all.

He believes that the duty of an enforcer is to, yes, enforce the law, but also to protect the people. His desire to protect others comes first before anything. He doesn't like to cause harm which is why his main form of weapon is tonfas/batons. He knows how to use more violent weapons, but he'll rarely actually have those weapons on a day to day basis. While others during training were excited to use guns, he wasn't and only focused on the learning aspect of it.

In his trainee days, he was considered a bit annoying for always wanting to get things done the right way and trying to correct the mistakes of others. He did so only to help them (and because he didn't want morons to be in the police force), but there weren't many people who shared his dedication to do things by the book. Nowadays, he won't necessarily correct other's mistakes unless they are under his wing or the mistakes they made were serious.

Throughout his entire career, he is infamous for being a strict rule book follower and it disappoints him that others are so lax while on duty. He's disgusted/annoyed by those who aren't at attention while on guard duty because it only takes a moment of distraction for something horrible to happen.

We've considered MelJay. We've considered JayVik and MelVik and SkyVik. Some of us even considered SkyMel, but have we truly considered. . .

SkyJay?

The two more awkward people of the group. Sky, who is not as confident as Mel and not as blunt as Viktor, trying to make a subtle move on Jayce. Jayce, oblivious yet more than happy to indulge whatever Sky wants which makes her flustered but happy. Sky, trying to figure out how to confess her feelings while Jayce is always so freely affectionate in casual seemingly only platonic ways.

(Sky references his behavior with Mel and Viktor as how he'd behave with friends. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to realize that Jayce also likes them too. Boy's just got a big heart. She does too. They all do. Just a whole lot of love going round.)

Both of them dancing around each other's feelings, Sky because she isn't sure how to take it a step further without ruining everything and Jayce because he doesn't have a name for the warm feelings Sky's presence gives him until something happens and he's hit in the face so violently with the realization that he's in love.

Oh and their interactions afterwards with Jayce being super affectionate and Sky being overwhelmed by his love but smiling even as she feels like she's going to explode.

This reminds me of when my white boss put on a playlist titled "Shit white people get turnt to" and we started talking about me seeing similarly titled playlists with the same songs. She went "Well, but I feel like those are songs everyone gets turnt to."

At my highschool prom, the DJ played Cotton Eye Joe and the kids who previously weren't dancing (like 80% of the dancefloor) were all getting down like we were at some kind of rodeo. I didn't dance cause 1, I didn't feel like dancing to that song and, 2, I was practically up against the wall and had no room to dance. But then they played Cupid Shuffle and less than half of the entire dancefloor got down. I would've, but goddamn it they still didn't give me any room to dance.

Well, I finally did the League of Legends shipping post for Mel

I did a few days ago a post about considering to talk about League of Legend champions that could be shipped with Mel, considering that people had started to opened to the idea of multishipping. First, a little disclaimer...

League of legends have 169 champions. Of course I can't talk about everyone, and I had decided to set a few little rules of who I would comment. I tried to get a variety of shipping "flavors" people could be interested in, but here are some considerations I took for my 10 characters.

A) I'm not going to talk about characters who have an ongoing couple in the main timeline. By extension, I won't include characters who won't be interested in Mel, like K'sante or Varus, as they are gay.

B) I will consider only humanoid characters.

C) I'm not expert on LOL Lore, so if there is something wrong, just kindly comment and I will correct.

With that being said, if the characters already introduced in Arcane doesn't suit your tastes for our girl Mel, then you have here some new characters to consider.

Female characters.

Samira, a shuriman who embraced Noxus's mindset and became a bounty hunter, looking for challenge and adventure.She is kinda related/ sponsored by the Black Rose. May Mel become her new patron, instead?

You want a little enemies to lovers touch? We have Karma, the vessel of the spirit of Ionia, who offers her the wisdom of remembering her past lives, one of the beacons of hope agaisnt Noxus's invasion of her homeland.

Do you want a little bit of what Elizabeth and Will had in Pirates of Caribbean? There you have Miss fortune, the daughter of firearms crafter, who became a pirate to get vengance agaisnt the one who killed her family, the reaver king Gangplank.

What about a little of beauty and the beast trope? Kai'sa might look like a void monster, but she is dedicating her life to stop the plague of the Void to dominate Runaterra.

Of course I will have a 'I can fix her' trope. She was kinda the reason of the post, as I saw people loving the vestaya design of Lest. Ahri, who doesn't have memories of her childhood, had been taking the life essence of humans to feel their memories and feelings. Until she feel in love...and accidentally killed her lover with her powers. Could Mel be her second chance?

Male characters

Mel is a painter, and so is Hwei, who uses magic to make his art a weapon. He uses his powers to bring justice to the world, while looking for the serial murderer that massacred his temple...

A Shuriman vigilante, a member of the Sentinel of Light who battles agaisnt the evil in the shadow isles, looking for justice and hunting for the warlord that killed the woman who took him from the streets...

You want family drama, someone who can understand the sibiling bond Mel and Kino had? Aphelios and hist twin sister Alune were treausured by the Lunari, as they considered them fated children. As they were considerated heretics by the Solari, Aphelios dedicated his life to protect his people, while her sister got involved with the mystical arts ending trapped in the spirit world. But when the Solari army reached the Lunari, Alune reached to his brother with her magic, and together they protected their people. Now Aphelios is a weapon, with her sister as his guide.

But of course we have some more...complicated guys. If you thought Heimendirger was paranoid about magic, you have to know about the city of Demacia, where magic is forbidden and mages are prosecuted. For Demacia, Sylas is a terrorist , for the mages, a liberator...and he won't stop until they are free, no matter the cost...or the collateral damage. Think of Magneto, from the X-men.

And of course , I have another I can fix him trope. Are you into Dark Romance? Into vampire aesthetics? There you have Vladimir a blood mage, ancient enough to have seen the foundation of Noxus itself. A member of the Noxian socialite, involved with the Black Rose, and leader of his own cult. A lot of things going on, indeed.

The potential of the shipping is endless...

I don't remember all my dream but

I had part of my dream include me having a pet worm like Mr. Drinkles (mind you I wasn't in the trolls universe and the rest of the dream was unrelated) and I saw on TV an AI vid with Mr.Dinkles being walked by Poppy on a sidewalk or maybe inside a mall and you could clearly tell it was AI and I just cried out "No! Mr. Dinkles!" cause I was upset about the AI on behalf of my worm

I keep on trying to dream about Viktor and Steb from Arcane but I'm having dreams of everyone BUT them???? Mr. Dinkles please!!!!1!1!

Also I once had a dream I was Sky Toronto's intern and he claimed to be an environmentalist but then he threw a brownie we got for free on the ground (which a lot of other people did—there was sm litter everywhere and the place was so pretty) but I ate mine and I snatched another off the ground because they were so good
