don’t kill yourself because the internet is going to be really funny when Elon gets assassinated
The crux of the anti trans movement is a war on bodily autonomy. They don't want you to have any agency over what you look like, how you dress, who you date, whether to have kids, etc.
They want total control over you. Not just trans people. Not just queer people. You. Everyone.
Trans people are just a scapegoat. They want total control over everyone's self expression. They want the right to mold you into their perfect little cog in their dehumanizing machine.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility. Our rights are your rights. Our destruction is your destruction.
btw there's so much discourse on my feed rn and I think I need some people to just step off of tumblr and meet people outside their circles. Does wonders for you btw x
I don't usually reblog from people who want to "debate" the existence of transandrophobia or dismiss the issues trans men face because I think it's more important to center transmasc/trans men's voices in this conversation.
But this is a reminder that if I DO engage with someone like that on here, DO NOT harass them! Also, don't try to argue with someone who's committed to seeing everything you say in the worst possible light. Just block and move on.
Maybe the community could start saying “how could I be an ally to trans men” instead of “how can I tell you you’re wrong about your own experiences “
trans unity
All those "we need more weird queers" posts pointing out how our community won't accept even the simplest of things but now we have to add trans men onto it.
why does every queer turn into a redpilled anti-woke far-right comedian fan the moment you tell them they're intersexist like 'stop inventing new terms 🤡🤡 why is everything a slur now 🤡🤡🤡 that one friend that's too woke 🤡🤡' like it's actually surreal how often it happens. i desperately want to know what makes them think that shits okay.
“Transandrodorks all believe trans women oppress trans men and think that misandry and reverse racism is real!”
Source? Can you point to one person who is saying this? Cause I've never actually met someone who believed that. "I’m not wading through the tag, find them yourself!"
Ok, so how about I link you to a bunch of posts where actual trans men talk about their experiences with oppression and how they define transandrophobia? Also, notice how none of them mention trans women oppressing them. “I’m not reading that because it's too long and doesn’t suit my arguments.”
Every Fucking Time.
Don't waste your energy on these morons. if someone isn't willing to listen, don't try to argue or provide examples. Block them and move on.
They're not going to change their personal definition of transandrophobia, because the real definition doesn't match their negative perception of other trans people. Just keep using it correctly and ignore them.
