Monster High Reimagined Part 01
A Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
During the Reign of the Old Republic in the midst of the New Sith Wars a Zabrak named Taxa was born. Taxa was raised on her homeworld of Iridonia by her half brothers Xarga and Setra; the two brothers were Force sensitive and had trained in the ways of the dark side but they turned their backs on the Sith and their teachings and instead chose a life of peace. Taxa's father had passed not long after she was born and her mother had left to raise her other children as she saw herself unfit to raise a Force sensitive child. There was much superstition the brothers could not avoid being Force users, but the fact that they were past Sith only darkened their chances and worsened the target on their backs. Bounty hunters came after them and Taxa, but they would not yield, it was then that they found Taxa to be extremely powerful in the Force and they knew the Sith would stop at nothing to have her. They fled Iridonia and came across a band of rebels who could aid them in keeping Taxa safe. The Sith were relentless in their pursuit, for months the crew were pursued until finally they were captured and taken to a Temple on the planet of Almas, a central hub for the Sith. It was there that the Sith planned to sacrifice Taxa for her power but one Sith did not agree with this course of action, a fight broke out and soon after the Jedi arrived. Taxa and her brothers were saved and were taken to Coruscant to train under the Jedi Council. Now years later, after the Bloody Battle of Almas, Taxa has begun her training as a Padawan under her new Master (...but shadows loom ever closer and danger draws ever nearer, perhaps the Sith are not done with little Taxa).

Amy from "Space Boy"
"Space Boy" is a tasteful series of graphic novels/webcomic on Webtoon made by Stephen McCranie.
Summary: A girl who belongs in a different time. A boy possessed by an emptiness as deep as space. A story about an alien artifact, a mysterious murder, and a love that crosses light years.
My Experience: "Space Boy" is tastefully written and wonderful to read; the story is suspenseful and wondrous, the characters are complex individuals with a flavour all of their own, and the artwork looks like a great space adventure that you can't help but get swept up in. An overall fantastic series of graphic novels/webcomic that everyone should go read 10/10!
Note: This is a redraw. The original artwork for this redraw was pulled from the cover of Volume 1 of 'Space Boy' - but you can find more of Stephen McCranie on Instagram @ stephen_mccranie so please go and follow them, their stories are out of this world.
A Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
During the Reign of the Old Republic in the midst of the New Sith Wars a Togruta named Wynssa Ninx was born. Wynssa was raised on her homeworld of Shili by her uncle, a stubborn old man who stuck to his principles. At a young age she left Shili to make a better life for herself out in the Mid Rim, Wynssa honed her skills with a blaster and learned how to take care of herself, she became a mercenary and earned the name "Ivory Phantom" after her haunting complexion. Wynssa Ninx became renowned for her skills and built quite the reputation as muscle for hire but like her uncle she too had her principles, she believed everyone should be on equal fighting grounds and despised when anyone would try to cheat their way to victory. She also couldn't stand taking advantage of others, especially those more vulnerable. One day on Correlia, Wynssa came across two girls being taken advantage of, she stopped it from going any further and took the girls somewhere they could be safe. The girl's name's were Lara Strur and Zif Runneni and Wynssa brought it upon herself to train them. She taught Lara and Zif how to defend themselves, how to fight and how to survive. When they were finished training Wynssa left for the Outer Rim, traveling into the unknown regions. Wynssa Ninx hasn't been seen since.

Vinca from "Castle Swimmer"
"Castle Swimmer" is a brilliant webcomic on Webtoon made by Wendy Lian Martin.
Summary: What happens when your entire life is ruled by a prophecy - your future foretold by people you've never met, who died long before you were born. Such is the story of two young sea creatures. One believed to be a guiding light for his people, a Beacon who will lead them to a bright, prosperous future. The other is a teenage prince for who's destiny is to KILL the Beacon so that HIS own people might thrive. When both reject the course set for them, it leads to a raucous adventure as big and unpredictable as the ocean itself - and a romance that nobody could have predicted.
My Experience: "Castle Swimmer" is brilliant to read; its story is adventurous and romantic, its characters are complex and wonderful, and its artwork is beautiful and bubbly. An overall fantastic webcomic that everyone should go read 10/10!
