“nobody understands me” but not in the “edgy suffering from teenager syndrome mad at mom” kind of way, but the “lonely isolating young adult realization that the specific combination of mental illnesses and past experiences i’ve had have resulted in a pattern of behaviors that are often misinterpreted and misconstrued by others” type of way
Spoilers for chapter 147
Okay, mikuni has baited people into doing what he secretly wants by revealing information to them before (like when he told sakuya about the barrier spell) so maybe he wanted mahiru to come to the the realization that he came to, but if not lol.
Basically mikuni says to mahiru that even if he remembers the old world that it's not the world his current self has lived in, that world would be the one he's presently in and that's why he shouldn't fight to return to the old one.
He also tells mahiru why he doesn't have the powers of a magician despite his parents both being magicians. Akira had researched how to revive people for her brother because their parents had died young. She didn't go through with it, but did end up using it when mahiru died in an accident. Mahiru came back at the cost of akira's life and also lost his magical power in the process.
But because in the new world mahiru had been saved by his father he never died. Mahiru realizes that because of that his current self has the power of a magician and starts using it against mikuni
It's so insane to think that I'm hyped in SERVAMP again after years just because I've found some old drawings that I did
And not just regular drawings, it's THEIR PONY VERSION???
Kitsunezai
Posting this on a whim
Here's a little Kitsunezai concept
I always felt like the outfit could be really cool if they could've detailed it a lot more.
When looking at the folkloric feel to Dazai's official Kitsune concept, a few things are identifiable. Here's some stuff-:
-He would be over 100, as kitsune are believed to grow more tails only after reaching that age.
-He's a Yako or Nogitune- which are the more 'morally grey' kitsune. Having a tendency to lean towards mischief and are likely to interact with humans.
-white and black coats of fur are rare, but they are present for nogitune.
In Japanese folk and mythos, kitsune can hold one of 13 powers
celestial, wind, spirit, darkness, fire, earth, river, ocean, forest, mountain, thunder, sound, and time
so they often may wear beads around their necks/ on their person to symbolize the elements
they only wear 12 out of the 13 because they exclude the one element the wearer represents.
So Dazai has 12 beads.

Happy Holidays @puns-parce ! :3
I was your Secret Santa this year! :D
You wished for Jeje and fruit symbolism, so I tried to portray that here. According to my research rotten fruit can symbolize death which I thought was fitting for Servamp in general. Rotten fruit can also symbolize the fall of man (the Bible) which I thought fit Jeje considering all the religious symbolism surrounding him. And lastly, I went with an apple since that is the fruit people often use to represent the forbidden fruit in the story of Adam and Eve which is referenced in Servamp.
Had a lot of fun drawing this! Hope you like it!
And thank you to the lovely @animes-trash for hosting this event!
Have a wonderful day/night! And happy holidays!
