(this is also in the script.)

goose flirting with a female bartender in front of carole and carole being very into it.

(this is also in the script as well.)

carole kissing maverick's cheek and whispering "oh boy, feel the heat" before pulling goose out of the bar by his belt.

(this is in the script too, except carole kisses maverick on the lips.)

confirmed tennessee goose.

childhood sweethearts goosecarole who are sickeningly in love.

maverick telling carole that he could only ever love her.

maverick being described as an "all american cheerfulburger," whatever the fuck that is.

goose screaming as he dies, and maverick replaying that final scream over and over in his head for days.

maverick rocking goose's dead body in his arms as they wait for rescue.

wolfman post-rescue being described as "a stuffed toy that had gotten tossed in the washing machine by mistake."

now for the script draft (from jun 1, 1985)....

iceman watching maverick flirt with charlie.

goose going on and on to maverick about how much he wants to spend time with his son.

goose telling wolfman and hollywood that they should get married.

maverick throwing goose's locker name tape into the ocean instead of his dog tags.
