It pains me to see some of my fellow symbiotes side with the Friends of Humanity. They’ve already made the fact that they’re hostile to symbiotes and skrulls well known.

The second either the public sees past the Friends of Humanities crap or the second they achieve their goals of killing the mutants, they will find a new scapegoat. And like it or not, the scapegoat is gonna be the skrull, the symbiotes, or both. They won’t just stop with the mutants.

The so called “friends” of humanity are not your friends. They will turn on us, you, I can’t believe some symbiotes still support them after everything.

It did, in fact, seem to set Alice-Parasite at ease a bit (though they still seemed a bit wary). They trailed behind Gwen, following her movements as they made sure to keep enough distance in case they were forced to flee.

After a long moment of silence, Parasite’s curiosity won over their fear, and it found themself finally speaking up to ask, “Why are you helping me?”

“Hey, you! Spider…”

Parasite Alice paused, trying to regain control of their host’s body again why did they keep on fighting Parasites control why did they pick a host that was so difficult we need a new host soon FIND ONE

“What do you… What’s your opinion on symbiotes? What do you know about them?”

Parasite-Alice leaned up against a fire escape, her expression blank and emotionless.

Gwen froze and pulled her mask back down, spinning on her toes to face the newcomer. She hadn't even realized someone was there. She had to get a grip.

She tried not to seem too out of breath or panicky, but they'd likely be well aware if they'd been there for any time at all. They hadn't mentioned it yet, however.

It took a moment to process their question. She had to get a grip first. There wasn't a clear threat.

"...In theory? They're very interesting," That was flat. Not enough. This was a biology question, she liked biology. "I mean, I don't know a lot. But parasites are always interesting to learn about." She didn't know why this was one of the topics she always hedged on. Realistically, she knew her feelings. But this was one of the things where she had to test the dirt, to find her footing, before she could state her opinion. Especially because she still didn't know this person.

"I don't have anything against them. Certainly not the hosts, they are actively hurt in the exchange," She wrung her hands together. Paused. "I think my interest lands in what is best for the host and what they prefer." That shouldn't have been too far. No matter the harm inflicted on others, the host was a person in the exchange. And yet she found her grimacing as if she'd stated the most controversial opinion in the world. It was stupid.

"Uh, may I ask who you are? And what your opinion is?"

Pretty much any host that won’t instantly die the second I bond with them? Also is somewhat okay with me eating people as well ig? And won’t get too pissed at me if I accidentally loose my shit

Avengers have probably already disguised themselves (read as: black cap and gray coat) to see how Scott and Peter get along, and now they're jealous because Scott is the only one Peter calls by his first name and hangs out with

Scott, for the first time in his life, is feeling special, and Peter is simply thrilled to be able to talk to a hero without freezing or stuttering, Scott has a daughter so he knows a little about kids, the others are starting to think this is cheating

Evidently this is a hot take, but John Walker is not the "evil Captain America" he's just not Captain America. He was given the title by his superiors, he's maybe arrogant enough to believe that's all it takes to be Cap, but he doesn't really seem to believe that because a lot of what he does in TFatWS smacks of insecurity, trying to prove himself to others AND himself, then his close friend is murdered right in front of him. He snapped and killed the wrong person for it in front of witnesses, but I can't believe no one finds that - or anything about the character - relatable. I relate to it and I've never spent one second in the military, had anyone expect me to fill the shoes of a national hero, or watched my best friend killed right in front of me while fighting international terrorists.
