Here's the thing, everyone in the family dislikes Mark but yan! Mark and Dick HATE each other the most but because they are low key so similar. Mark is obviously way more extreme but i digress. He brings out the absolutely worse out of Dick.

Like Dick has picked up a Knife and contemplated murder.

Mark and Dick's interactions are hilarious though?? Like they both have the exact same fake smile and passive (heavy on the aggressive) behaviors.

"Ahhh, Mark, we're always pleased to host you since y'know your parents obviously need some sort of break from an irritant, such as yourself."

"Thanks, Dick! But regardless of how much of an irritant i am to them, least i still have two biological parents to care for me. Maybe it's because they're not patrons of the circus....?"

Jason isn't subtle and has whipped out his guns, ready to blast that mf. He's been the closet to causing Mark to blow up the mansion. It was a whole thing and you dumped Mark over it but of course he gaslighted you.

I think the family doesn't like the fact you're dating someone who can easily take advantage of you. (ironic) Mark is clearly dangerous, he's half viltrumite and they may not know everything his people are capable of but they know he can cause a lot of havoc. Mark is not only a threat to you but to them as well. He puts them in a state of constant high alert. They're always staring him down, searching for any signs of danger. I'm sure Batman has a fail safe plan all ready to go. They are eager for the moment they can take this mf down. Do you think they have the supers on speed dial just in case? Ugh even uncle Clark is disapproving of this too.

Your sisters try endlessly to have heart to hearts with you because WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING????? MARK?! They'd rather you date poke-a-dot man or something because why????

Mark isn't a dumbass, he knows they hate him. He also knows just how scared they are of him and it gives him some sort of sick pleasure knowing he could truly have you all to himself if he really wanted to. But there's really no point in that yet, you're wrapped around his fingers. He totally has thought about going back to his planet with you and keeping your pretty self locked up where your family won't ever find you. That'd really stick it to em'

The cocky, manipulation is just oozing off him every time he's around. The way he shoots threatening looks towards your siblings when they try to get your attention or "playfully" insulting them. There's never a moment where his head isn't held high, looking down at your siblings as if they were beneath him...He runs this place when he's over. Which is all the time because Bruce is like okay, if you won't leave him, you have to be supervised.

Can you imagine combined family dinners with Mark's family and yours??? First, there is definitely a fight of who is sitting next to who. I'll say your brothers win this and are sitting on either side while Mark is fuming as he's across from you. The tension is so freaking high. It's rather silent around the table but everyone is looking at each other either like "I'm ready to kill him when you are" or "i'm going to kill you, mark...". I headcanon that even Bruce has beef with Nolan. They clash rather constantly on their differences of how to handle villains. Nolan is a stone cold killer to Bruce, who is rather set in his ways. It's no wonder Mark is his son. You aren't going to be with this kid for long. "So, Bruce? How's things on your side of town? Still letting your boyfriend out of jail so you can keep playing tag?" "The Joker isn't my boyfriend, i'm just not into murder, unlike some "heros" are. I like to set an example for my kids." "Ah, is that why Jason threatened to kill my son at gun point last month?"

You and Debbie are the only ones who like are trying to be civil and are sort of ignorant to everything going on.

"Um, so i made brownies with Mark's mother for everyone! Anyone want a piece?"

Your siblings act like savages and eat the entire pan, stuffing it in their mouths so Mark cannot get any. Bruce doesn't do anything to correct his children out of spite.

Bruce is also debating on just handling them right here. He could have Kal-el over in matters of minutes and this could all be over with.

(Okay but Mark and Damien beating each other’s asses???? Damien cannot bite his tongue and Mark is trying to be nice because he’s a kid but he then Damien call him a "little bitch boy" and it pushes him over the edge. Mark just jumps over the table lollllll???? The Ewoks were dancing around a massive bonfire they had lit themselves, cheering to the sky as shards of the second Death Star hurtled across the galaxy. They were using storm trooper helmets for drums and were throwing their armor in to the fire, dancing in circles. 

A little ways from the party, you and Luke were sitting on a fallen tree, your fingers intertwined. He wouldn’t look at you, no matter how hard you tried to get him to. 

“Luke, what is it?” You kept on asking, leaning your head on his shoulder. You could tell he was exhausted and there was an uneasy air about him. The Jedi rested his head on yours, taking a deep breath. 

“Vader’s dead.” He said quietly, rubbing his thumb on your palm. His hand shook slightly and you squeezed it.

“Isn’t that a good thing?” You replied, whispering. Luke sighed. 

“I don’t know, Y/N. He saved my life.” 

You lifted your head and looked at him, astonished. 

“What?” 

The Jedi smirked at you and looked down, shaking his head. 

“He changed… in the end. He killed the Emperor. He died saving me.” 

Luke looked back up at you, tears brimming around his eyes. 

You pulled him into a hug, resting your chin on his shoulder. You felt his arms wrap around your middle tightly and you whispered words of comfort in to his ear. 

“Well, aren’t you two sweet?” You heard a familiar voice from the trees. Looking around, you saw Han Solo step out with Leia, both with grins on their faces. 

Luke looked up and smiled widely. He unhooked himself from you and ran over to his friends, greeting them with a massive hug. You started towards them and Leia threw herself on to you, holding you around the neck. You returned the embrace and laughed as Han nodded to you, smirking. 

“Did we interrupt a moment between you two?” Leia asked, pulling away and looking up at you. You never noticed how short she was. 

“No, not-” You began before Luke interrupted you. 

“Actually, could you give us a minute?” The young Jedi said, sneaking you a wink. 

Han scoffed.

“All the time you need.” He sniggered before motioning to Leia and leaving the two of you alone. 

Luke started towards you, his blue eyes twinkling. You raised an eyebrow at him.

“Luke, why did you-”

The Jedi cut you off with a kiss. He held your face in his hand, kissing you gently. He moved your mouth with his slowly. You smiled slightly and wrapped your arms around his shoulders, your hands traveling up to his hair. You fondled it gently and he grinned against you, laughing. 

“Should we join the others now?” He breathed, his forehead pressing lightly against yours. 

You smiled.

“In a second.” You said before planting another kiss on his lips.

mark grayson with the sweetest, most perfect s/o.. he's so incredibly down bad that even the team is embarrassed. you have the famous hero, invincible — a man posessing incredible powers and strength — weak in the knees. and you don't even know how tightly you have him wrapped around your finger.

"baaaby? i need your..—" without the chance to finish, he's already at your side in seconds and awaiting your request. it makes him all giddy when you call him pet names; baby, sweetheart, darling.. all of those things have his heart running laps, and he doesn't ever want it to stop. rex says he's making a fool of himself, mark argues by saying he's being a fool for you. making it perfectly fine to be one.

he LOOOVES, loves, loves kisses! he doesn't need it to be a make-out sesh, or if he's giving or receiving, it's just his favorite form of physical affection. if you're sleepy, he gives you a forehead kiss. if you're sad, kisses all over your pretty face. and his favorite is if you're happy, you have this tendancy to just kiss him over and over till mark's letting out smitten sighs of content. it's a bonus if you wear any type of lipstick/gloss, he wears your little marks like a PROUD boyfriend. period

mark grayson is a man who treats you like ROYALTY, carrying your bags, buying you all the pretty brands, and all he asks is to go on long, detailed rants about seance dog. he usually has to fight the urge to giggle and kick his feet cause you look at him like he's your boyfriend, and NOT a totally big nerd. which he is, who says you can't be both? infact, you're sure you love him for BEING a nerd. something about a big, tough hero.. liking a comic like seance dog. cute, sooo cute.

his favorite time of day is night time, when you're all sleepy and he pretends to be too, only to be wide awake and stifle his giggles at your sleepy clingyness. he loves the way you just.. stick to him, almost like glue. or GOD, when you run your hands through his hair — he's just got it sooo bad for you, a lovesick puppy at your side always. don't get mad at him when he shows you all the pictures he takes of you while you're sleeping, it just makes him wanna do it more, all to see that pretty look of frustration on your face.

and of course, with being a superhero, an older brother, AND a college student.. mark gets exhausted too, unimaginably so. and when he gets home, greeted by a homecooked meal, comfy clothes, his favorite movie and you, in the midst of washing the dirty dishes in his shirt — he forgets why he was in a sour mood to begin with. hell, he's got stars in his eyes as he excitedly asks you if you've prepared this all for him. dinner goes cold though, too busy pressing you up against the counter and showing you how grateful he is with his lips. ♡

totally the kind of guy to buy a polaroid camera just to collect pictures of you, and best believe he has MANY. in his wallet, in his phone, on his desk in his room.. and in fact, he had jokingly made you a shrine. realistically, it's just got all the gifts you've gotten him over the years.. but he loves it, his little corner of love, his love. his personal favorite picture is the first photobooth you two went to, he's got you carried bridal style and pressing his nose against you, causing you to have the sweetest burst of laughter — the moment perfectly captured in a single photo forever. he's sure that he'll use it to brag to every single person that he's taken, that you're his.

b4 you two were together, mark DEFINITELY tried on multiple ocassions to impress you. posted gym pictures on main (rex laughed at him for weeks), tried to dress 'cooler', and overall tried to become someone he honestly wasn't. to his surprise (and dismay), you noticed him at a cafe on a random weekend, wearing a shirt he didn't realize had a hole in the back, reading a seance dog comic. cue mark's embarrassed mumbling for excuses, before you kindly laughed off his flustered-ness, and offered to listen to him to talk about the comic he was reading.

it's like you've set off some sort of bomb, cause the boy you found interesting on campus just became ten times more attractive. again, just to highlight, a strong man with the kindest personality is just — it's immediately attractive. or it's the fact mark is just.. hot. he's undeniably a force to be reckoned with and you wanna ROCK his force deadass (sorry 🙁)
