Poll?

I know the Ninjago fandom is pretty small, maybe 500 at most?

I’m going to ask everyone who is an active member of the Ninjago fandom (Not just a side interest, etc.) to PLEASE Reblog this. I want to find out how many people there are.

The Happy99 Worm, Also Known As Ska Or I-Worm, Was A Worm For Windows, Appearing In 1999. The Worm Would

The Happy99 worm, also known as Ska or i-Worm, was a worm for Windows, appearing in 1999. The worm would display a gif of exploding fireworks in a window titled “Happy New Year 1999!″. This was the first worm known to spread via e-mail and usenet. Other than attaching itself to the user’s computer, this worm did no damage.

ooh, this is pretty informative! i didn't know a lot about LEGO history, especially concerning the gendered marketing, but it's nice to see that those mistakes in the past are slowly being undone.

From The Little Girl From The 1981 Lego Ad Is All Grown Up, And She’s Got Something To Say.

From The Little Girl from the 1981 Lego Ad Is All Grown Up, and She’s Got Something To Say.

“Toys are supposed to foster creativity. But nowadays, it seems that a lot more toys already have messages built into them before a child even opens the pink or blue package. In 1981, LEGOs were simple and gender-neutral, and the creativity of the child produced the message. In 2014, it’s the reverse: the toy delivers a message to the child, and this message is weirdly about gender.”

I wonder if, in superhero universes, the villains ever get contacted by those “Make a Wish Foundation” and similar people.

I mean, the heroes do, of course they do, kids who want to meet Spiderman or Superman or get to be carried by the Flash as he runs through Central City for just thirty seconds.

But surely there are also the kids, who - because they are kids and sometimes kids are just weird - decide that what they really, really want is to meet a supervillain. Because he’s scary or she’s awesome or that freeze ray is just really, really cool, you know?

jeez every time i think i'm starting to get over ns11 someone points out some detail like this and it leaves me paralyzed

You ever think about how in "booby traps and how to survive them" clutch says that the last one over the bridge usually doesn't make it? Zane was the last one over the bridge in the pyramid and even though he physically made it over, we all recall what happened to him at the end of the fire chapter

hmmm...

eyes are rounded (and sometimes just circles depending on what mood you’re going for in the artwork); the characters are very expressive. curved and angled lines are used alternately when needed to correctly portray a facet of something's design, although more often than not the lines are curved. the shading is generally flat, but that varies. i think i’m forgetting something... oh! another distinctive thing you do is that you also draw these little lines on the noses as well as a blush-y thing on the faces.
