Weyler (Wednesday x Tyler) + slightly NSFW text posts
Morticia: WillowHill just released a formal statement about one of their patients having escaped.
Wednesday: You suspect I had something to do with it?
Morticia: I'm not a fool, darling. I noticed the carcass left in our yard. A mating gift, perhaps?
Wednesday: I've gathered many beasts in my menagerie, mother. Leaving their kill around is not unusual behavior.
Morticia:
Morticia: Oh, and since when do they make you quads?
Honestly, I'm actually glad there won't be romance in season 2. I want the series full and undivided attention on setting up the dynamic between outcasts and the world around them.
I want them to dive in deeper into the Hypocrisy of only teaching "the good outcasts", and how/if they are willing to sacrifice their own to save themselves from racism and bigotry.
I want to see the consequences of everyone's actions take a front seat next season. From parental backlash after the Laurel incident, to the fact that there's an entire race of outcasts who were basically born to be enslaved. Heck, I want to see consequences for Wednesday being healed by a ghost, that must've messed up her biology somehow, right?
1. Maybe I'm too much of a slow-burn/angst fan, but that sounds ideal to me. I want them to take time rebuilding their relationship.
2. The Xavier thing is not gonna happen most likely. Netflix pretty much confirmed he was fired, and won't be returning for season 2.
3. I would not be surprised if that were the case. Especially with how much Tim Burton loves Gothic romance.
So sorry for the rambling lol
I've seen people freaking out about there being no romance in season 2, but consider this:
1. It took a lot for Wednesday to trust Tyler, and it will take way more for her to trust him again now, probably another whole season or more.
2. Some people have been pushing a love triangle with them and Xavier, so a romance plot would mean she runs into Xavier’s arms, and most of us don't want that.
3. Misdirection is a huge thing in the age of plot twists and spoilers. Jenna has said "no romance" so many times now that it's getting suspicious. The two points above are most likely true, but there is always the possibility that there is a romance plot and they're lying to us so we don't see it coming.*
*see: everything that was done to keep Tom Holland from telling us about End Game.

I would like to have a thousand words with the WEDNESDAY writers

So for those who don’t know I started a @stickfigureschallenge (please check the pinned post for details!)... I made these beforehand and literally had so much fun with it, which made me want to create the challenge lol
Anyway I hope you enjoy these Wyler stick figures!!
I cannot believe I have to live in a world where people deny that Wednesday and Tyler aren’t the perfect ship for this day and age.
Fast Burn Strangers to Lovers to Slow Burn Enemies to Lovers
Equal and mutual respect
“I should kill you” “Do it then” “….” “You can’t? Can you?”
Monster x Goth Girl
Sarcastic Banter that doesn’t put the other down.
Just enough toxicity.
Did I mention the respect thing?
Mutually sticking the other in chains
Being real ENEMIES
The “I’m supposed to kill you but I fell for you” energy
“Do I want to kill you or kiss you?”
The genuinely queer energy they hold both being the outcasts of outcasts.
A couple of teenage tearaways
Being a m/f pairing for the girls, gays and theys.
THE MUTUAL RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING AND NEITHER ONE UNDERESTIMATING THE OTHER EVER
Just… I love them okay???
Tyler: My di-
Wednesday: *turns lighter on*
Tyler: My hands are cold
Wednesday : Here, let me hold them
Tyler: My lips are cold too
Wednesday : *covers Tyler’s mouth with her hand*
There’s a lot going on in that little critter’s head right now.
One Way Or Another - Blondie
one of my favourite songs that is so damn wyler coded in a way
"I'm in. And no charge. Consider it a freebie."
"Why?"
[Tyler Galpin had no control over who manipulated Hyde. He had no idea or any sort of training in controlling his own powers. As a normie he was neglected by his father and found solace in the lies Thornhill fed him. If his dad had ever tried to communicate with him rather than being scared of what his son would become, he'd be in a different place. What he was made to do was not his fault. He did not choose to kill people. He was just a teenager trying to be a better person, trying to live his life peacefully. He was haunted by the pain of the people Hyde killed, and when he's telling Wednesday about it, you can see the mask almost slip. And that's all I have to say.]
