How I sleep, knowing the writers gave us explicit scenes showing that Tyler did not enjoy his interactions with Laurel, and had Wednesday herself give a whole speech about him being manipulated:
Who do you think delivered baked the cake?
how are u gonna complain about people attracted to blood on the people attracted to blood website
Desperately hoping we're starting off season 2 with absolutely unhinged and deranged Tyler coming after Wednesday. This boy knew what he was doing when he picked Legally Blonde as a "horror movie" for their date where he proceeded to spend all 1 hour and 34 minutes of it basking in Wednesday's disturbed reactions with glee so imagine his now unlocked insanity.
-
Tyler: I'm going to finally kill you, Wednesday.
Wednesday: I'd like to see you try.
Tyler: With affection.
Wednesday: *stares at him in horror*
Morticia: WillowHill just released a formal statement about one of their patients having escaped.
Wednesday: You suspect I had something to do with it?
Morticia: I'm not a fool, darling. I noticed the carcass left in our yard. A mating gift, perhaps?
Wednesday: I've gathered many beasts in my menagerie, mother. Leaving their kill around is not unusual behavior.
Morticia:
Morticia: Oh, and since when do they make you quads?
She's gonna be a tough girl to win back, Tyler.
Honestly, I'm actually glad there won't be romance in season 2. I want the series full and undivided attention on setting up the dynamic between outcasts and the world around them.
I want them to dive in deeper into the Hypocrisy of only teaching "the good outcasts", and how/if they are willing to sacrifice their own to save themselves from racism and bigotry.
I want to see the consequences of everyone's actions take a front seat next season. From parental backlash after the Laurel incident, to the fact that there's an entire race of outcasts who were basically born to be enslaved. Heck, I want to see consequences for Wednesday being healed by a ghost, that must've messed up her biology somehow, right?
1. Maybe I'm too much of a slow-burn/angst fan, but that sounds ideal to me. I want them to take time rebuilding their relationship.
2. The Xavier thing is not gonna happen most likely. Netflix pretty much confirmed he was fired, and won't be returning for season 2.
3. I would not be surprised if that were the case. Especially with how much Tim Burton loves Gothic romance.
So sorry for the rambling lol
I've seen people freaking out about there being no romance in season 2, but consider this:
1. It took a lot for Wednesday to trust Tyler, and it will take way more for her to trust him again now, probably another whole season or more.
2. Some people have been pushing a love triangle with them and Xavier, so a romance plot would mean she runs into Xavier’s arms, and most of us don't want that.
3. Misdirection is a huge thing in the age of plot twists and spoilers. Jenna has said "no romance" so many times now that it's getting suspicious. The two points above are most likely true, but there is always the possibility that there is a romance plot and they're lying to us so we don't see it coming.*
*see: everything that was done to keep Tom Holland from telling us about End Game.
you have to laugh when haters gotta be like "the writers want them together" and dismiss that they actually write them to be together there was a whole ass construction of character for it it was not something out of blue like one thing is when the piece of media does something that completely doesn't make sense the other is the whole ass writing point to this direction and you don't like it - then be free to make your own fanon but go on and pretend the character haven't been meant for the other is just delusional
She’s the kinda girl that’s gonna get you hurt.
