Just wanna see him looking cool and badass cuz he can in fact hold his claymore š¤š¤š¤
More proof that capitalism was never "freedom" or "small government".
Have put off making this post bc I donāt want ppl I genuinely like and agree with on a regular basis to think Iām trashing them on like a personal level just bc I feel pretty strongly about this but I will say Iāve seen an uptick on āJesse killed himself in Alaskaā takes and headcanons and I just have to say that you are all staggeringly astonishingly incorrect like maybe yeah if we take him out of the context of the narrative he lives in which is structured like a narrative and contains overarching themes and character arcs and we all pretend that Breaking Bad is real and that New Mexico is a real place you can go to then sure, yeah, somebody in his situation might very well kill themselves. But if there are any lessons meant to be imparted to the audience by the trajectory of Jesseās character arc, they are āendless self recrimination and self harm are actually not conducive to becoming a better personā and āletting other people decide the trajectory of your life for you is a bad decision in and of itselfā and you might as well dice these themes up and melt them in a bathtub of hydrochloric acid if Jesse commits suicide post El Camino. To say that Jesse commits suicide is to take Walter Whiteās lying, deflated ass at face value when he tells Jesse that he could never make it on his own, that he needs Walt piloting his life for him, that he ever needed Walt more than Walt needed him, that he couldnāt possibly survive on the strength of his own merits and willpower. But he already did! He already did, in both BrBa and El Camino, and thatās what gives him the strength to go on, is just knowing that he can! And he will!
"teens are prone to tantrums and are emotionally unstable" - okay, yeah, puberty is real, and emotional regulation is a difficult skill to learn. but also. any adult person would be pissed if their opinions were disregarded, they had no say in what happens to them, their emotions and feelings were downplayed and their privacy were intruded on.
if you can't handle me at my 'chat am i cooked', you don't deserve me at my 'we are so back'
I hate the sound of babies crying, but I can't hate a baby. They've been here for like five minutes and approach this situation with an unhesitant attitude of "my needs are unmet and I am going to make it everybody's problem", and I respect that.
what abled ppl think is a massive problem for disabled folks: 13 year old on the internet faking something
what is actually a massive problem for disabled folks: "well you don't LOOK disabled, are you sure you're not faking? I'm not giving you accommodations until you PROVE you're not faking. Please give me, a stranger, your medical info and explain your condition to me in detail so I know you're not faking and only then will I respect or take you seriously"
I personally think the fact that Skyler was pregnant and then newly postpartum for the majority of the show gets glossed over way too often lol. Not in an "oh pregnant women and new moms are soooo emotional š" way either, but moreover like how deeply deranged a lot of Walt's behavior towards her really is in that context. Like here is this woman who is pushing 40, experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and all the financial and emotional concerns that come with that, raising a son who has a disability and handling all of the unique responsibilities and challenges that are a part of that experience, coping with what was essentially sold to them as a death sentence for her husband, all while also having to get back into the workforce after an extended time at home. It's crazy how vulnerable of a position Skyler was in during the time when Walter was sneaking around behind her back, lying and engaged in illegal activities right under her nose. Walt consistently harps on the stakes of his situation but ppl seem to completely disregard the weight of Skyler's. She gave birth without Walt. Handled the sleepless nights and diaper changes and night feedings and newborn tears without him. When she desperately asks him to get diapers at bedtime, he can't even do that for her without traumatizing Jesse and going to a bar while he's out of the house. Sometimes I remember that Skyler was an aspiring writer and I just want to cry lol. Losing so much of herself in motherhood and caught up in Walter White's web of lies and abuse. that's a tragedy of Breaking Bad I seldom see discussed but it's one I think about every time I watch the show. Skyler White you will always be one of my favorites, I love you so much
The point isnt
"Us autistic people can be good tax paying working capitalism contributors!!!"
Its
"So what if some autistic people cant contribute to capitalism. So fucking what. They are still humans worth of love and care and support."
Sorry to break it to you but your not an amazing inclusive leftist for erasing people who aren't palatable.
"Here!! Here are the small amount of *minority* who fit your standards!! Here look we arent all like those bad *minority* people!! Infact they dont even exist!!!"
Oh ok so it turns out ive been borrowing grief from the future ! it turns out ive been preparing to lose the things i love rather than basking in the light of them while they last. Maybe i should nt do that
