The way Eliza draws outΒ βStayβ in That Would Be Enough is the exact same way Maria draws outΒ βStayβ in Say No To This
During Hurricane, Hamilton singsΒ βI couldnβt seem to dieβ and Burr singsΒ βwait for it, wait for it, wait for itβ¦β
Jon Rua, the actor who played Charles Lee, also played Burrβs second in his duel with Hamilton. Burr was Leeβs second in his duel with Laurens.
James Reynolds, Philip Schuyler, and the doctor in Stay Alive Reprise are all played by the same actor. Philip Schuyler gave his blessing to Hamilton for his and Elizaβs marriage; James Reynolds was the one who ruined it; and the doctor tried to help Philip but couldnβt.
In The World Was Wide Enough, the second-to-last song, Hamilton saysΒ βI wrote some notes at the beginning of a song someone will sing for meβ. In Alexander Hamilton, the first song, the ensemble singsΒ βAmerica sings for youβ
Aaron Burr, Sir has the same melody as The World Was Wide Enough. Burr offers to buy a drink for Hamilton when they first met, and buys one for himself after he kills him
Every time a gunshot sound goes off at the end of a song, (Alexander Hamilton, The Room Where It Happens, Non-Stop) Burr is always standing in the middle of the stage, foreshadowing that heβs going to shoot HamiltonΒ
Hamilton sings some of Elizaβs lines from That Would Be Enough in Itβs Quiet Uptown. That Would Be Enough was the song where he found out Eliza was pregnant with Philip, and Quiet Uptown is the song where they are mourning Philip. itβs like a full cycle
I love Miss Grimshaw and I think she does a lot of good. However, the way she treats some of the girls in camp is abhorrent. Most of the girls can handle themselves against her, but sheβs still cruel. Honestly, I think outside of Grimshaw hitting the girls and that questionable comment about Tilly - this is the cruelest thing Grimshaw has done. To force a woman back into prostitution and then THREATEN her when she says no?Β Disgusting of Grimshaw.
