We are kinda dumb rn.

What do you mean?

[If there are any mistakes in spelling and grammar, only correct us if you are doing it constructively, please].

Do any beings know how to go about making a tail and/or ears with brushed off fur from a dog? Or where to find information about that kind of thing? (We have a husky, and we want to use some of his fur to make at least a tail and maybe ears as well).

We are thinking about using the start of a yarn tail to add the fur to it (we also need fur safe dye cause our dog's fur is white and ours should be a kind of dark brown). Would this work?

We wanna make a tail cause we aren't really able to properly find an ethical tail seller [we are disabled, we aren't gonna go more into it], and we have heard that fake fur tails aren't really that great. We might just end up making just a yarn tail if we can't find a way to use our dog's fur for it. [Are yarn tails good for the environment and stuff?]

Rebloging to spread this as we mostly can sadly only speak English in this life so we can't really join.

THE DAY OF LANGUAGES!!!

This 7th of May, 2025, we use our own language again!

If your language, native or not, is something other than English, on May 7th you can speak that language all day!

You’ll blog in your chosen language(s) all day: text posts, replies, tags (except triggers and organisational tags).

Regardless of what language people choose to speak to you, you can answer in your own.

Non-verbal, non-written languages (like sign language and dialects) are more than welcome! See my FAQ for tips

English native speakers can participate in any other language they're studying/have studied/know.

The tag is gonna be #Speak Your Language Day or #spyld for short.

Please submit me some language facts for me to share on this day <3

Absolutely!!!

We actually growl a lot, not always on purpose, it's just instinct!

- Shay (They/it)

Wish growling/hissing was a more socially acceptable form of communication. Like, it's so effective: you hear a growl, you back off cuz you know you'll get bit otherwise.

We found the meme. Here's the link for anyone who wants to see it, lol.

Does anyone know where to find the meme video where it's like "adhd moods" and reads off of a bunch of them and there are ones like "no distraction only focus, no focus only distraction"?

We want to find it so bad, lol.

I decided to try and make some userboxes myself for us.

Don't know how well they actually turned out, but we love them!!!

If you want to use these userboxes, feel free to use them! Credit is not needed but is very much appreciated!

We are gonna open commissions soon and just use GoFundMe as the way to be paid. Link to gofundme.

Since we aren't really good at drawing we'll start the prices as (prices are based on traditional art, digital may cost less);

Level 1 (no color and kinda messy): $6

Level with color (color and kinda messy): $8

Level 2 (no color and not as messy): $8

10

Level 2 with color (color and not as messy): $12

Level 3 (No color and not messy): $14

Level 3 with color (color and not messy): $16

Examples (examples are traditional, digital will likely look different):

Level 1 (imagine this with color for that one):

A messy drawing of a random person (human).

Level 2 (imagine with color for the colored one):

A less messy drawing of the same random person (human).

Level 3 (imagine with color for the colored one):

We Are Gonna Open Commissions Soon And Just Use GoFundMe As The Way To Be Paid. Link To Gofundme.

Rules:

We will draw animals, anthros, humans, human-like beings (robots/androids, vampires, etc.), and items (headphones, collars/chokers, pencils, etc).

We will NOT do NSFW or tons of gore. We will do light gore (scars, a little bit of blood, bruises, etc).

We will NOT do any commissions for free, our art even though it's not that good takes time, energy, and supplies.

NO racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, systemmeds/pluralmeds, transmeds, proship, radqueer stuff, etc.

LGBTQ+, plural (any origin), disabled, agere, and alterhumans and nonhumans are all allowed (hate phrasing it that way but whatever).

We will do parts of the body (headshots, head and torso/body, full body, etc.) We aren't very good with hands and feet (for humans/human-like beings that aren't anthros).

After you buy the art you can do almost anything with it. You can NOT feed it to AI or anything like that. You also do not need to give us credit, although we would appreciate credit.

If you are curious about anything to do with our commissions feel free to ask! You can ask in the comments, reblogs, asks, or dms.

Edited: Also if you commission something from us please let us know on here in dms.

We aren't really good at drawing but we are thinking of starting to do commissions soon. Are there any good tips for both art and commissions?

Like what's the best way to get the money from commissions (PayPal, gofundme, etc)? [And other tips for commissions].

Also just art/drawing tips for both traditional and digital.

[We don't have a job, are working on getting disability income, and the body's dad only gets disability and retirement so we don't have very much money.]

Edit: Also, what would you like to see us try to do commissions of? (Examples: animals, anthro animals, humans/human-like beings, etc).

We found a different origin term that fits from the same site.

So this and unknown will be the ones we will likely use the most.

Looked at this to learn about plural origins.

These feel like the best terms for our origin right now.

So we will be using these terms, probably mostly unknown.

We'd also like to reblog to add in that we would also appreciate if beings gave tips for good animal shelters and rescues. Like what to look for to figure out if a place is a good place to find/buy pets from.

- Shay 🐾

Beings who know about ethical dog breeding/breeders in the USA, we have some questions.

(We are currently trying to find good ethical german shepherd dog breeders sort of around us to get a puppy so we can train [mostly professionally trained, we have a place in mind for that] to have a service dog).

Firstly, what should be looked for in a breeders?

Secondly, is it bad if a place/being breeds multiple breeds?

And just overall, how to find good ethical breeders.

Edit: Is it best to go for a working line, or does show line work fine for service dog work?

Thinking about going back and deleting some older posts, we might end up reposting some that we delete, but fixing things but not sure yet.

Some that aren't being deleted are being updated with tags.
