Yep, to all of this.
Also, just stop using disorders, disabilities, mental terms, etc. in contexts that aren't actually the disorder, disability, etc. Like, please, for the love of everything, stop saying "I'm so OCD" when you don't have OCD and are just being neat. And stuff that is similar.

periodic reminder that it costs zero dollars and zero cents to not use the words psychotic, psycho, schizophrenic, schizo, insane, or delusional to mean derogatory things
no, that alt right person is not āpsychoticā for being racist and having racist beliefs. you can be racist without having psychosis. itās not mental illness causing these beliefs, itās just hatred and bigotry.
no, that person advocating to repeal the medical rights of trans people is not ādelusional/deludedā. you can be transphobic without experiencing delusions. itās not a mental illness that causes these beliefs, itās just hatred and bigotry.
no, that person supporting israel is not āinsaneā for justifying and supporting genocide. you can support genocide without having a severe mental illness. itās not mental illness that causes these beliefs, itās cruelty and hatred.
just find a different word. it is not that difficult. what IS difficult is living with psychosis, especially when it is stigmatized day in and day out. when we equate medical conditions with moral standing or worth, thatās eugenics.
i wish nothing but peace and love on everyone including those who have used these terms in the past, present and future, but i am tired.
there are so many good posts making good points that fall short because they use terms relating to psychosis to indicate moral failing.
psychosis. is. not. morally. corrupt.
STOP equating psychosis with bigotry, hatred, and cruelty.
note. people without psychotic symptoms are encouraged to reblog this. i am not going to do more than my share of the work to educate non-psychotics when iām struggling with my own symptoms. thank you.
Hello!! Thanks for answering our ask!!
Also, except for the exam thing, mood. We got very little sleep last night, mostly cause we are
Dragon is very happy that you said hello!
Thanks for the suggestion for name inspiration!!
Sorry for the very, very late reblog/reply. This has been sitting in our drafts since we first saw the post (so a long time really, lol)
- Shay (They/it)
Hello!!!! How are you?
We decided to come say hello, lol.
We are plural and have an alter/headmate (we wanna find a different term so badly) that is a dragon, and it wanted to basically have us say hello to a fellow dragon, lol.
Currently, it is just going by a placeholder name of Dragon. Honestly, if you have any name ideas for them, we would have to hear the ideas!
Don't know what else to say, lol.

- Dragon (It/they) | Dragon doesn't really type/talk very much outside of noises
hi!! i know you! im fine, pretty tired (i only got 5 hours of sleep cause i had an exam earlier today). im going home for the weekend so im gonna try and take a nap on the bus to make up for it.
oh, say hello to Dragon for me! i dont have any name ideas (i mean, my name is Talon which isnt precisely the most exciting name for a dragon), but you could look at Wings of Fire characters for inspiration methinks. theres many cool dragon names in that series, so you could probably find something for your headmate there!
have a great day/night!
(Just a little note from us)
We don't hate humans or humanity. We do have a bit of a general distrust towards humans we don't really know [much like some of the theriform versions of the creatures we are].
We do have (probably) human friends. We have had human friends in past lives. As stated, we do not hate humans. However, we are very cautious around unknown humans, and that doesn't make us bad or anything.
Hell, most humans would be cautious around some of the theriforms of our "types" (wild canines, wild felines, dragons, etc). And we would not hold that against them.
Hopefully, this is not very off-topic of the original post. We are autistic and adhd so this might not be the place and time for this, and if it isn't, we very much apologize. We are mostly just thinking we would say this now because, at least in our head, it is slightly tied in with the original post. (None of this would be an excuse, just an explanation, btw).
- Shay š¾ | Host of the WildPack and a wolf dog cat crow creature, lol
Where are my nonhumans and alterhumans that love humanity?? I feel like everyone in the alterhuman community suddenly hates humans and itās pretty sad to see. A creatures existence is not inherently good or bad, that includes humans too.
Where are my creatures who enjoy being around humans? Have human friends? Where are my overhumans and humankins?
This is so true!!
We don't believe we have DID or OSDD, but we are plural, and it does seem like our trauma affected our plurality.
We won't argue with anyone trying to say that we actually have DID/OSDD. It doesn't even really matter to us that much whether we do or do not. All that really matters is that we are plural.
We have had our moments of thinking that our trauma wasn't "bad enough" and shit like that. So, this post definitely helps a bit.
Remember, comparing trauma is not good for anyone.
- Shay š¾
"my trauma wasn't bad enough i can't be a system"
whenever I hear people say this I always wonder, what metric are you using? your tolerance for how things affect you now as a teenager, or adult?
something that you experienced as a child is going to use a completely different metric! a child's brain is much less developed than an adult's and what they're able to handle is much less. for instance maybe you like horror movies? you probably can watch them without even getting scared! but if you watched the same film at 7 years old it would likely be a lot different!!
you don't need extreme trauma in order to have DID. it just needed to be extreme enough to YOU as a child, that's all. You got bullied at school? that's enough to develop DID! you had a disorder from an early age that made life hard? that's enough to develop DID! your parents were neglectful? that's enough to develop DID!
there's no such thing as gold star DID you don't need to have gone through the worst of the worst. there's no need for trauma olympics, if you have DID you have DID and that's all!
We found a different origin term that fits from the same site.
So this and unknown will be the ones we will likely use the most.

Looked at this to learn about plural origins.
These feel like the best terms for our origin right now.
So we will be using these terms, probably mostly unknown.

Btw, in case you didn't realize, our post was not an "attack" or hate to you. We are also autistic (and adhd).
We get where you are coming from, and we once again mostly agree with you.
This is coming from beings that don't use therian or otherkin as our labels, btw. We mostly use nonhuman (as well as alterhuman and transspecies).
We also want body mods and social transition in more than just wearing "gear." (We can't get that yet, just as we can't get that with us being under the trans umbrella cause of our family). And we would love to see social transition talked about way more as well!
We just also wanted to point at that while species transition isn't all about gear, that it also can be about gear for some.
(We do, in a way, consider anything that affirms our gender and species "transitional" to us, although not everyone would. So clothes to us is a way to "transition").
Once again, no hate to op. Sorry if it ever came off that way.
- Shay š¾
just to clarify species transition =/= buy a bunch of stuff off etsy or amazon.
We aren't sure if the body has PCOS currently, but it is possible as the body's mom had it. We know that she would have never even wanted anything to do with the intersex community [cause she was very Christian and transphobic, so to really say that there are more than 2 sexs would probably also be a no, lol].
We want to actually get tested but don't know how to go about it. If any being has any suggestions & tips, we would love to hear them.
[Also, please don't talk too bad about the body's mom as she is dead. She wasn't really good, but still, we loved and still do love her].
- Shay š¾
reminder that PCOS is an intersex variation and bullying, harassing and misgendering people who have PCOS isn't helping the intersex community, or anyone else, for that matter. there's no reason to be rude or say it doesn't "count". thats not for you to dictate. you're not helping other intersex people by saying people with PCOS aren't intersex, all you're doing is hurting intersex people when you do so.
Can any being(s) explain exactly what each "level" of support needs mean? (High, medium, and low are the ones we have seen/heard)
Cause we literally aren't sure what we count under.
Like it almost seems like we are low-medium support needs or high-low support needs (like on the lower side of medium or higher side of low).
Does this make any sense?
- Shay š¾
Guess we are answering from main account/blog now.
Our hyperfixations tend to be more related to our sources and other games, movies, and shows, lol.
Also, animal related things, especially service dogs.
[Some of these could also be special interests, we aren't entirely sure of the difference for us]
- Shay š¾
What is your in-depth opinion of fire?
Depends on who is being asked.
There's Den and Moonfire who love fire, lol!
Most of the rest of us mostly just like looking at fire but not being too close, lol.
Not sure what else to say here.
- Shay š¾
Whatās it like when an alter has planned something in the back? Do you just get a fully formed plan popping into your head, or do they talk you through it? Do you just switch?
Hello!!!
Considering I am, as far as we can tell so far, always fronting in some way (sometimes I am just technically "lower" fronting but still fronting). The switch part isn't really true.
It's probably a mixture of the other 2 things, though. Also, sometimes they join front or take over the "main"/primary fronting, and I go into "lower" fronting, but that's not as common.
Usually, when the others join me in front, it's as a secondary (tertiary, etc) fronter rather than the primary fronter.
Hope this answered your question!

Changed profile picture to what used to be the banner thing.
Changed banner thing to the novigender flag mixed with the genderqueer flag (cause both are what I use for my gender [I/my used to refer to Shay, the host]).
