Finally getting my dad to go to hospital tomorrow which is wonderful news!

I've mowed a path down the hill for my wheel chair and my neighbour is going to drive him to the hospital (I'm on my Ls and would drive us into the river instead of over the bridge + he has a 4wheel drive that's 2 high to get in and out of easily)

And I'll finally be able to bug bomb the house + spray posion around rhe windows. Depending on the length of the stay I might be able to fix the holes in the main room and paint over them.

The timing is a little annoying as if he went today I would be able to go to Sydney tonight and make my best friends party but alas even tho I could make the morning train after we go to hospital ill need to be here for min 12h in case he has forgotten at home and wants me to bring it to him.

Idk if I'll be able to go to Sydney but hopefully I do so I'll be able make some money to I will say it's going to really suck having to full body shave and still have to wear thigh highs in this weather cause of the burns on my thighs. Emilia Pérez is fucking trash

Today we were able to see the Oscar nominees and it's clear that for another year the academy only awards without stopping to think.

The fact that Emilia Pérez is the film with the highest number of nominations honestly seems like a bad joke to me. And I'm not even talking about "best photography" or "best film editing" because that seems like the only parts that aren't trash.

I'm talking about fucking best director (the man who didn't do enough research of México because he knew enough. Go figure).

I'm talking about best soundtrack (all the songs who were Google translate just like this post, but hey! I'm not running for an Oscar, right?)

I'm talking about best actress (Karla Sofía Gascon didn't do a good job. She had an European accent while she was supposed to be Mexican and that's the tiniest of her problems). Her being nominee left out actresses like Pamela Anderson, Angelina Jolie, Marianne Jean-Baptiste whose roles were without a doubt, much better executed.

And I'm not even going to talk about best picture, that's just...

Stop making this type of movies.

Stop taking a delicate topic to hide behind the premise that is "art". Emilia Pérez is so rotten to every person who has lost a relative thanks to the narcos and the fact that they glorify a murder at the end of the movie is disgusting.
