So basically the scene starts off with akashi entering the library and seeing midorima looking at a shogi board. Akashi asks him why and he says "I was feeling nostalgic"(THATS SO CUTE HE MISSED PLAYING SHOGI WITH AKASHI)

Then akashi(looking just as nostalgic) said that midorima often kept him company in middle school. He then asks midorima whether he wants to play shogi with him(AKASHI MISSED HIM TOO MIDOAKA FRIENDSHIP STILL GOING STRONG)

So while they were playing shogi nigou barges into the room and akashi and nigou had such a cute interaction it was so adorable.

Akashi: "Nice to meet you, Number 2."

Nigou: "Woof!"

Akashi: "...You can answer properly? What a good dog."

Akashi: "Come on."(he lifts nigou onto his lap)

Nigou: "woof!"

Akashi: "You don't seem to mind sitting on my lap... there you go."

Nigou: "Woof!"

Akashi: "You're pretty used to people."

Then izuki comes looking for nigou and akashi says "look nigou, someone's come to pick you up."

every time i see asl brothers together and happy, it adds years to my lifespan. it's played for laughs but the fact ace still asked sabo if he wanted the D initial too just to make him feel included my heaaaart

dadan is the realest mom out there. she literally ran into a fire for her sons, two of which she had only known for less than a year. when she found 2/3 of her sons she IMMEDIATELY asked where the third was, and when ace was stubborn and said he wouldn’t leave without a fight, she backed him up and fought alongside him. someone get this woman a gold medal.

Tage to the rescue!! To answer the one person who asked if they would get to share the devil fruit power, hopefully this answers that :) only the first person who takes a bite of the fruit gets the power, so only Ace would drown in water.

So remember when I said this would be a 2 parter?? it’s now panning out to look a bit more like 3 or 4 parts maybe. Originally this was planned to be 10 pages but even with the hiatus I couldn’t finish coloring on time so you get the first half for now and the next half next week :) I think I have like,,, 35 tracked hours on this chapter now lmao

But since I’ve got lineart for the next half already done hopefully next week’s chapter will go quickly and I can build a small buffer and start to work on the week after. Do have some other AUs and thoughts in the works other than this comic but also internship has begun so it is back to the grind again until August

I will try my best to keep this updated weekly but depending on motivation and time I might have to start doing biweekly updates if I want to work on other art as well :/ but I’ll keep you guys posted! Thanks for your patience!!
