Marie: "Ghosts don’t suddenly spit out hot bread at you! Sometimes burnt bread! You must have noticed how no matter how much you try to predict when the bread will pop out, it still startles you."

Hawkins: "No, Marie... I haven’t noticed."

Marie: "Then, maybe you just haven’t been paying close enough attention to this phenomenon."

Marie: "Faust knows what he’s talking about. His fears are not unfounded."

My first association with the character Doey is the episode from Steven Universe, where the Clusters first appear. That moment when the creature takes shape, and we see the faceless silhouettes of the Gems forcibly fused together. They want to separate, but they can't
