Beautiful Creature

A/N: I do a mermaid reader that has a ability to walk on land, but the reader does need to go back in a water when she feels the need for water. Kind of like the little mermaid but she has a magic power

D x mermaid reader

D took a moment of rest amongst the calm quiet early morning of the beach, D had found it so peaceful, it helps him to have a moment of rest before he out on his journey to hunt down more vampires,

He leaned against a tree as it gives him a bit of a shade from the sun, listening to the soft waves of the ocean as he rested his eyes,

A sweet shy mermaid basked in the morning sun upon the rock, looking out to the beach in such awe and wonder, you do love to walk on the soft sand, the feel of the sand upon her feet can be ticklish, but she oh so love it,

As you observe around the beach you see the most enchanting and handsome man you have seen, you had seen humans walk on the beach but you had never seen him around, he had peaked your interest as you began to swim over the beach.

You layed on the beach upon as you focus your energy as your mermaid tail began to disappear and had became human legs and feet, you smiled as you wiggled your toes before getting up and walking towards the strange mysterious man near the tree.

The man senses someone coming towards him as he open his eyes and ready his sword, you yelped before stumbling onto the ground, the man stood up and looked at you for a while before putting away his sword,

You giggled before getting back up and standing across from D,

D was mesmerised by your beauty as you began to talk to him,

You two both talked until the sun had set as D got to his horse to get going, but you wanted to join him and so you had begun to follow him,

D quietly let you join him as he helped you upon his horse as you both rode in Silents,

You began to ask him about his job and what he does as you are quite curious about his job, to which he explained about him being a vampire hunter, you were mesmerised by this discovery and asked him countless questions about being a vampire hunter.

D had found it quite cute of how curious about everything as he tried his answers every question you asked. He began to develop a connection to you, and wanted to reveal his feelings but was afraid that you want to only be friends with him and nothing more,

You both found an Inn and stayed for the night, as D began to settle on the couch you went and found a bath in the next room, you began to run the water and lock the bathroom door, D was confused but decided to not asked anything about it,

You stopped the water as you began to undress and sink into the water, your feet began to turn back into a tail as you turned back into a mermaid, you relaxed into the water and began to doze of into a deep sleep.

You woken up with a rapidly knocking on the door, as D asked if you were okay to which you explained that you were fine as you quickly turned you mermaid tail back to human leg and feet, you got out of the water and quickly changed into some clothes,

You walked out of the bathroom and looked up to D who looked concerned as he explained that you were their for the whole night, you told him that you were fine that you just fell asleep and asked where they be going.

D brought you out of the Inn and onto his horse as you both journey south and also to your luck there is a river so if you both end up camping you can go into the water,

As you both journey for two days D stopped his horse near a shade of a tree for D as the sun is being more warmer than it should be, D buried himself into the dirt as he try to get his energy back,

As he laid there you were completely confused and asked for an explanation, D began to tell you he is a Dhmpire and though he can walk out in the sun but he does need to a rest from the sun,

You nodded understandment as you wander around the woods as D try to get his energy, You know that you need to soon go to water, as you felt yourself needed some water, you walked over to D and said to him that you be getting some water near the river in which he nodded in response.

You walked over to a nearby river and began to discard your clothes and ran right into the deep river as you moaned in relief as you softly closed your eyes as your mermaid tail began to flap in the water,

You stayed in the water until night time too much enjoying the water, that you hadn't noticed D coming out of the dirt ground and sitting by the riverbank, as turned around you yelped in surprise that D was sitting there looking at you in your true form.

D smiled before going further into the water as you swim up to him, you told him about yourself and what you are in which D stayed quiet making you feel awkward,

But that quickly changed when D leaned in a pressed his lips against your own, you melted into the kiss as you wrapped your arms around your shoulders,

Relief that not only he accepted you of your turn form but also had the same feelings that you had felt for him, you leaned away from him as you stared into his beautiful eyes, you blushed as he told you that you were the most beautiful creature that he ever laid eyes upon,

And that was how you both met two years ago, as you both are married together,

You both rode together in the beautiful evening sun, as you both made it to your beautiful home by the beach, you got of your horse and ran towards the ocean discarding your baby blue dress as you dove into the water as D began to walked into the water,

You swim around D as you giggled as D reached out to your hand as you swim towards him.

You lean your forehead against his whispered each other those three words,
