i wanna talk about my new favorite girlie but she's kind of a spoiler so i gotta let my feelings simmer for a bit.

oh sorry i was desperately trying to remember the conversation i had actually 5 seconds ago.

concept 1: when dragons lose their teeth, humans and other humanoids will make weapons from them, either because they are strong/inherently magical or just as a novelty. these weapons are often used by great warriors, rulers, or priests for ceremony.

concept 2: the tooth fairy.

every character was made with so much love and effort, i genuinely can't tell who will be a reoccurring character and who will be a one-off.

I cant settle on one single character to be my favorite.. they're all so awesome!!!

I always hate this mentality because the original anecdote relates to poetry, where the curtains can't be "just blue" because they didn't exist until the author told you about them. they could have been any color, or no specific color at all. the author made a choice to tell you about the color of the curtains, and part of understanding media is asking why they did.

i think the “sometimes the curtains are just blue” mindset has led to the downfall of media literacy

the best game lore is lore that can be described in two seconds or ten hours with no in-between.

i got locked out of my house today. good thing i leave a spare key in the garden. i placed the king facing south, the queen facing west, and the knight facing east. i still couldn't find the key, but i realized i mixed up the king and the knight.
