I think it’s because of some lore, but idk. Maybe they are people the Ender drangen killed and elongated??? And that they became like this because the Ender dragon looked at them and they think everyone wants to kill/disfigure them when said everyone looks at them??

we are fucking people. some of us are kids. i am a child. nex could have been me. nex could have been my best friend. nex could have been another queer friend or kid at my school. the world fights us and hurts us and beats us and we're just trying to fucking survive while our schools and our parents and our friends and etc turn their backs on us while people are beating us to the ground and nobody understands except for the trans community, nobody is there for these trans kids except the trans community and the world has decided they hate us for trying to be happy. i don't know what to do anymore.
