I started saying 'fascinating.' To anything unexpected and bad, in a sarcastic 'I knew this wouldn't end well and wow it went terribly' way. Eventually it shifted to a genuine 'fascinating...' when things have gone unexpectedly bad, in an odd cartoony scientist 'oh wow I hadn't realized you could do that, how do you do that?' Way and like

Highly recommend? I've started finding good and bad things genuinely interesting and also making people laugh by genuinely muttering '...fascinating..!' At any minor inconvenience and it makes life more fun!!

My tried and true method for getting comfortable with drawing a character-

Step 1: draw them as close to cannon as you can.

Step 2: draw them as a coraline doll!

Step 3: do a few stupid doodles! Simple as you can, like dots for eyes.

i don't know who needs to hear this but your f/o will not be upset or weirded out if you're getting upset over something "tiny". if an activity/interaction/situation is getting you just overwhelmed or frustrated or even angry to the point of tears, they aren't gonna be weirded out or think of you any less. they aren't gonna tell you to chill out or that you're over reacting.

what they are gonna do is try to help you through. try to maybe offer a distraction from the thing making you frustrated or just try and calm you down. maybe breathing exercises if they are familiar with them or a hug if you like those. anything just to help you. because they care about you <3

So I posted these two images that I made in a post together just shy of a year ago, and the post got 10,000+ notes. Today I saw a meme with a text convo of someone sending one of them to a military recruiter (which is extremely funny) and I thought “oh I should find that post again”

but when I went to find it, it had completely vanished. not just the original post, but even reblogs of it. I couldn’t even find screenshots anyone had taken of the original post. it wasn’t brought to my attention as a reported post, tumblr never even contacted me about deleting it, it just… disappeared

I've received a lot of good suggestions for more variants but can't keep up with them all, so here are some resources to make it easier to make your own.

PSD for easily editable text (there is a color fill layer for adding a bit of white where the stroke doesn't cover small holes. I recommend cropping excess empty space out before exporting as PNG)

and here are PNGs of the kudos button for any other editing needs, with and without white stroke:

Use your favorite image host, copy the direct image link, insert it between the quotation marks in the code, add alt text, and you're ready!
