My Christmas present from my sister was dance lessons for us both in a nearby city which is kinda cool cos we've talked about it for years. I googled the place we're going to and they do the Latin dances like salsa and rhumba but they also do kizomba and bachata. Their Facebook page looks like mainly Black couples or Black men and white girls and there's some very sensual dances. Like borderline indecent lol. The part of me that likes your blog is really excited and the other part is like guilty because I have a bf (who is very white and has no interest in dancing, like at all). Plz can you talk me out of asking my sister to take her (single) best friend instead? I've read your blog long enough to know you'll have some good arguments for just going for it and enjoying the experience!
Stop being silly. It's a gift from your sister. It would be rude to turn it down.
Turning it down would be suspicious. I mean, it's not like you would turn it down if the dance partners had been white, right?
I'm sure your boyfriend would enjoy some time to himself as well.
You deserve to have some fun. You're second-guessing your way out of a fun (and totally innocent) experience.
