Changing your name is both the best and worst thing. Like, on one hand, I'll finally be separated from my birth gender but on the other hand, I'm making a decision I will be living with for the rest of my life. Also! Deciding on a last name is an agonizing process, and I can't find a good one;-;

My name is Azrael or Az for short, I'm 18 and a proud trans(she/her) lesbian. I'll be using this blog to talk about anything and everything, be them stories from my life, tales of my transition, or anything else I think of! Omg omg omg!!! My friend(same one from the previous post if you're caught up Keeping Up With the Queers) helped me buy some pairs of lacy underwear not that long ago(this woman istg /pos) and I finally tried on the one that came in.

It looks so good!! It fits nicely, the lace is nice looking, and it makes my butt look super cute(a previously major source of dysphoria, for context) I never thought I'd look good in something like this but I do!

I love trying to find tips for skincare and such and people say "Exfoliate and moisturize" and all that and then I look up how to do that(because no one taught me, for obvious reasons) and I get people saying to just, do it??? Like, they just say to get an exfoliant and a toner and a moisturizer like, how??? How do I find a good one? How do I look girlypop damnit

I have a massive crush on my best friend, and everyone else I've talked to says it sounds like we're already dating and just haven't outright said so. So far, we've gone on a shopping trip that culminated in dinner at an Applebee's, we've planned a vacation with just the two of us as an escape from work where she agreed to let me act as a housewife(long story that), we're going to see the Hatsune Miku movie together, like we have all these "dates" planned but idk if she sees them like I do. Im super glad I get to be properly for it this year(and for the other 364 days in the year ;3) I don't really have any stories or tips from being out publicly but it has been super freeing.
