ngl when i first started watching above and beyond i HATED paani on a personal level just because there was so much of him in season one and like barely any of the original Octonauts BUT then I watch season 2 and I’m on season 3 now and I’m starting to understand his appeal.(sidenote. Why is only season 1 and 2 on Netflix and then season three and four is on BBC . Like stop, splitting shows over different streaming platforms)

The idea came to me when I was thinking about Sherlock Holmes and then remembered the iconic mystery solving gang hehe

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.

i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.

palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.

they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.

palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.

I love how in above and beyond calico jack being an octoagent means kwazii gets to spend a lot more time with him especially since he was missing for so many years.like every couple of episodes he’s of somewhere with calico jack.

THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING

I have this half-baked Octonauts ?AU?? idea that's been rolling around in my head for too long and I need to write the concept down or I'll explode

Anyway my idea is What if The Octonauts was a The Office style comedy? I've never actually watched the office but stay w/ me Like what if instead of the show focusing on their adventures and conservation efforts it just focuses on life on the octopod as coworkers and friends. It would have some overlap w/ the actual show but it would mainly focus on like their relationship dynamics and the more mundane parts of their work. Like maybe an episode where Dashi and Barnicals go to a corporate meeting and screw it up Or where Shellington tries to beat Inkling at chess Or where the crew goes through increasingly elaborate plans to try and get Barnicals to relax for once Or where Kwazii is sent to get supplies in port and doesn't het anything on the list. And so on. I think it would be fun just to see them like be people. Soo uhh thats my rambling for the day hope yall enjoyed it
