The Drawing And Picture Both Look A Little Moody, But Somehow In Two Different Ways?

The drawing and picture both look a little moody, but somehow in two different ways?

I feel like I went a little bigger for the nose, and it feels a tad bit more on track? Maybe I gotta try drawing it a little larger

Listen. I start my sketches from my glasses and portion the rest of the drawing around them. So I just sat and stared at this picture for way too long trying to figure out where/ how to start it. Which I guess means I've become fixed into a set way of drawing myself- whether that is good or bad I could not say.

Even though I've had a reserve of a week-ish of drawings for such an occasion, it's been quite some time since I last drew and as result shared. I did so for the first time tonight in a long while. Sometimes life happens, yknow? Anywho, this is a post to try and trick myself into accountability, let's see how it goes. If there's a noticable change in quality/skill/appearance in about 7 posts, this is the reason why.

Added note: if you see an animal in the wild that appears to be injured, please call the closest wildlife rehabilitation center. Please do not approach or touch the animal unless they instruct you to do so. They will be able to tell you over the phone if the animal does indeed appear injured, and what the next steps to take would be. Occasionally the animals are not really injured, just exhibiting behaviors we are unfamiliar with, and are best left alone to do their thing. The wildlife centers will be able to help you discern what is going on with the animal(s) you find and whether or not they need help.
