Pros: think I'm settling into a mouth style that I like, have always liked how my hair turns out
Cons: noses have been turning out funky, used to like how they were turning out but not so much now, eyes always look... haunted?
Day 48
Day 11
Again, the paper got curly which warped how some of the sketches photographed. But here is sheet two. I am impressed that I've made it this far and I think the spacing turned out better on this one (minus the last sketch I squashed in)
Finished sheet, nearly 2 weeks worth of sketches. Paper became a little curly on the bottom so a few faces are a bit warped in this photo. My use of space is, as per usual, hilariously poorly executed
Inktober Day 15: Legend
I was messaging a new buddy of mine and she made me think of this panel of the supportive voice of reason, Gin, of "M is for Monster." (Great new graphic novel by Talia Dutton @supertaliart, check it out.) So this is my reminder to everyone that your scars are kick-ass, beautiful, handsome, and dashing, and if you're not there in your journey yet than I hope that one day you will be able to view them as such.
I know I've been talking exclusively about my sketches, but this is just as much about getting comfortable having my picture taken. And lemme just say, it has been a struggle, especially these past few days.
Whelp we gotta long caricature-like sketch today. Not intentionally. Tried to add some shadows. Even though even I know less is more when it come to shading. Oh well, experimented, tried it, maybe I'll play around with it in more moderation in the future.
