what is it about capybaras that attracts groups of small animals to them? Its not just mammals either its like birds and turtles and frogs too

I crocheted myself a little Whisper of my own. And when I say little, I mean little. He’s only 11 inches long and 4 inches tall. Since this is the first version, he’s not quite perfect (and I’m not positive I got the stripes right), but overall I’m pretty pleased with how he came out. :)
