Ok so like with mcu fanfiction in the irondad catagory they always make peter and aunt mays living situation poor as dirt while giving her a job as a nurse and I looked up what nurses should be making in that area and the cost of two bedroom apartments in that area plus utilities and honestly they should have more than enough money to pay those bills and keep their fridge full with good quality clothes so I’ve come to the conclusion for all those fics that aunt May is doing hard core drugs or some shit because they should not be barely hanging on by a thread and having their apartment be discribed as a hovel
