I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

by purely evidential reasons I believe we will see these characters again, or at LEAST ylfa, considering in the trailer for the season we hear a quote from her that we have not heard yet: “It’s only gotten harder to make friends now.” granted there are tears rolling down emily’s cheeks as she says that line (which is why it stuck with me enough to remember) so who knows what the fuck is gonna happen, but!!! reason enough to believe this is not entirely the end of this bunch.

okay but what if imogen is a kalashtar

I know I don’t really post on here BUT I have an imogen theory. This might have already been said but she has a lot of similarities to the kalashtar race from ebberon??

kalashtar are a race created from the union of a human and a dream realm spirit known as quori, which is then passed down through generations, so it’s a hereditary thing. In appearance they essentially are sort of like aasimar in terms of looking very human with some little weird almost alien twinges.

kalashtar have a specific trait called severed from dreams:  Kalashtar sleep, but they don’t connect to the plane of dreams as other creatures do. Instead, their minds draw from the memories of their otherworldly spirit while they sleep. could possibly explain some moon shit??

ALSO they CAN READ MINDS and SPEAK TELEPATHICALLY TO OTHER CREATURES. It also mentions in some sources that Kalashtar’s eyes flash and glow when they’re experiencing strong emotions, which happens to imogen sometimes.

I just wonder if matt and laura worked on melding the kalashtar into a version that would work in exandria, so maybe not a quori spirit exactly but something ruidus-related? maybe this is all coincidental and maybe someone has said it already, who knows, but I’ve been thinking about it for a little while!!
